As a cocktail person I was disappointed with my pornstar martini because it was literally only orange juice, so sweet, couldnt even taste any alcohol and wasn't even made of passionfruit. Full of fake flower petals that made the drink uncomfortable, and for the price I was not happy with it. The food was ok, staff nice even though it took so long for them to give us the bill

Such a fun place in the center of town. The menu is extensive and the atmosphere is festive.

If you are in Argentiere and you don’t visit the Office Bar, you are making a huge mistake. The food is great and the prices are just right. Service is spectacular, it’s a slam dunk.

The office bar was an unreal experience. Best burger in the valley hands down! The service was amazing and the owner even came to check on us multiple times. Very nice touch!

Entre que nos sentamos y nos trajeron la carta pasaron 15min, no estaba muy concurrido, la camarera ni nos miraba, le pedimos la carta a otra camarera y pasaron otros 5min hasta que tuvimos la carta, pedí una cerveza a presión y me trajeron una botella 10min después… más de media hora esperando para tomar una cerveza y me trajeron la que quisieron… Servicio de pena

Wij hebben hier 1 keer geluncht en 1 keer avondgegeten. heerlijk gegeten, uitgebreid menu, heerlijk modern en genoeg vegetarische opties (en de toiletten zijn schoon!)

Alors quand on sert un café on peut au retour débarrasser une table. La jeune fille n'a pas compris quand je lui ai demandé le prix de mon café au goût décidément amer. Pas de menu en Anglais, je n'ai pas compris où j'étais.

Cervecería en Argentieres donde no aprecié mucho interés por atendernos y nos sirvieron una cerveza normalita a un precio que considero elevado. Las mesas estaban muy juntas y no era cómodo.

L'endroit est sympa et le rapport qualité prix plutôt correct. Les serveuses sont agréables tandis que le monsieur derrière le bar (serveur ? barman ?) met mal à l'aise par son attitude (fait des remarques devant nous à ses collègues en disant que nous n'avons pas réservé sans nous saluer, ne lève pas les yeux alors que nous sommes à quelques centimètres de lui en train de régler l'addition, ne répond pas à nos salutations en partant ... Dommage !

Une pépite au cœur de la vallée du mont blanc ! De l’apéro au dessert la qualité du service des cocktails et des plats était au rendez-vous !! Je recommande allez y les yeux fermés

Accueil exceptionnel avec un chien adorable qu'on aimerait câliner tout le temps. Nous avons passé un super moment pendant nos vacances et sommes revenues plusieurs fois, le service est chaleureux, la cuisine est très bonne et les cocktails super. Nous nous sommes aussi régalées avec les sushis le dimanche 😋 que ce soit pour boire un coup le soir ou manger c'est top ! Les patrons sont trop sympa Nous reviendrons !!

Super adresse ! On est tombés là un peu par hasard, et très bonne surprise. Mention spéciale pour mon Touftouf, accueilli comme un roi en terrasse, avec sa petite gamelle servie direct.

De passage à Argentière, je ne peux que recommander cet établissement. La cuisine y est soignée, le service est de qualité et le lieu est agréable que ce soit pour y manger ou juste venir y boire une bière après une bonne journée en montagne. Mention spéciale pour les expresso martini… J’y reviendrai sans hésiter !!

Restaurant tres sympathique qui change des classiques que l’on retrouve souvent en montagne, une cuisine « fusion » qui permet à chacun de se régaler, service et accueil au top, je recommande sans hésiter ☀️

+ 1 pour la localisation, et -1 pour le service, -1 pour la nourriture. Bref un endroit hyper bien placé où on mange très mal, et où le service est non seulement incompétent mais outrageusement désagréable pour certains. De quoi nous avoir fait passer un mauvais moment. Nous ne reviendrons plus.

Everything was awesome except I think my wife and I ordered poorly - don’t get the veggie burger or the vegan curry. It’s not much food nor very good (which is a bummer because it wasn’t cheap). The food on everyone else’s table looked good though.

The male server with tattoos was rude (after reading the petty replies to reviews I understand better). Unfortunately this encounter changed our perspective on the restaurant. The female servers were very friendly, had enjoyable music, and the burgers were good after a long hike. But wouldn’t support again.

We came down from the TMB trail very hungry and stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The place looked casual, the guy from the staff dressed casually, tattooed, but before we asked anything, he pointed out that this is a restaurant and that we should put away the bag of chips my wife was holding in her hand, the tone was rough and unfriendly. The food was okay, the rest of the staff fine, but because of that first impression one star, he judged us from above.

De bonnes pinsas, la bière Big Mountain en pression est très bonne, service sympathique, les prix sont raisonnables. Nous avons passé un bon moment.

A bit glammed-up compared to the old days when we’d ring up people back home and say we were at the office, but still a great bar/hang out in Argentière.

Great atmosphere in this bar/bistro! A mixture of diners and après ski drinkers makes for a fun vibe. We went on a Sunday evening in the mid ski season and busy, but we were impressed with the quick service and the food was served promptly too. There was a good choice on the menu. The boys were pleased with their burgers and I had the Wok aux légumes which was very tasty. My wife had the curry which was a little bland, but the overall experience was a good one.

We love it here at The Office, popped in a few times during our stat in Argentiere, food was always excellent, lots of beers to choose from and good wines and cocktails. Service always friendly and quick. Good for apres ski too. Love the doggys too!

Cuisine excellente, cocktail bon et joli mais gros point noir sur le service qui est à revoir.. Aucun accueil à l'arrivé.. Nous avions réservé une table et malheureusement personne pour nous guider vers celle ci, malgré le passage de la serveuse juste à côté de nous, sans nous saluer. On nous a apporté le plat chaud alors que je n'avais pas terminé de manger mon entrée. Une fois terminé et le plat débarrassé, jamais personne n'est venu prendre la commande des desserts. Nous sommes donc parti.. Il y avait seulement quelque table et un bar vide pour 3 personnes au service... Vraiment dommage...

Terrible Service, bad treatment because we did not speak French. The minute we arrived, the waiter told us that is was not possible and kicked us out. Did not even offer bar service. Extreme rude i would not pay a dime to eat here.

Went for Happy hour. Although it looked great, I did not have anything from happy hour menu because I LOVED their tap beer selection. Sweet potato fries and chicken fingers are fresh and tasty too.

Service exécrable, accueil glacial, absence de considération envers la clientèle. ( Un bonjour ne mange pas de pain, les tasses posées à la va-vite sur la table sans un mot, sans un regard...). Pourtant seuls dans la bar ( je comprends maintenant ..) nous étions visiblement de trop. Pour couronner le tout le cappuccino était décevant. Le seul point positif, le chien adorable. Passez votre chemin.

Erreur de cocktail suivi d’une erreur de plat. Pas de carafe d’eau si on ne le demande pas. Ceci dit, rapidité de service !

Nous avons été accueillis par une sympathique serveuse. Une fois notre plat terminé, impossible de capter l'attention des serveurs qui nous ignorent, nous snobent alors qu'il n'y a pas foule. Au bout d'une bonne dizaine de minutes, on finit par se résigner et on fait une croix sur le dessert et un café.

Un restaurante con un buen menú. Gastronomia variada, ricas opciones sin gluten y un servicio muy amable.

Aucun accueil, aucun service, si tu n'es pas Anglo saxon et ne te satisfais pas d'une bière et d'un burger, va voir ailleurs

Top, Repas, ambiance et service !

Trendy place right in the heart of town, perfect for a satiating lunch after a TMB hike. The menu is varied and suitable for people with dietary preferences. We ordered a poké bowl and a vegan burger and they were both delicious. Service was great and food arrived quickly. Highly recommend.

This is a very lively restaurant/bar, I imagine it is buzzing during ski season. It was packed when we had dinner there, some really tasty chicken tacos and french fries. Really really enjoyed it and highly recommend. The staff our super efficient.

Llegamos, nos sentamos y estuvimos 15min esperando a que los camareros nos traigan la carta. Les hicimos gestos y les llamamos varias veces, y o no se enteraba o lo ignoraba. Había gente, pero también había algunas mesas vacías. Otro par de mesas estaban igual, sin ser atendidos por el servicio. Al final nos levantamos y nos fuimos a otro bar, "the stone". Ahí fue todo lo contrario.

The cheeseburger here was delicious and a perfect way to end a day of hiking. I started dinner exhausted from the unexpectedly long day and once I took my first bite I knew I'd be ending the day on a high note. If you are craving a burger you will not be disappointed.

We visited as a large group. The service was great, friendly and helpful staff but food was hit and miss. Burgers were great, most other dishes especially tacos were disappointing

Ce restaurant est situé en plein centre et en plein cœur d'Argentière à 15 minutes, de on y mange très bien on peut y boire un coup le soir assez pour bien finir la journée on est extrêmement bien accueilli

Заехали по пути, увидев, сколько здесь людей😅 На самом деле стоящее место. Большой выбор напитков и закусок. Шикарный бургер со стейком Ангус, идеальная прожарка и соус. Коктейли заслуживают отдельного внимания, отличный вкус и подача. Несмотря на загруженность официантки очень внимательные и услужливые. В общем хорошее место, чтобы поужинать или просто выпить пива. На двоих вышло в пределах 50€

Great tacos

A new place - for us at least - in Argentiere, just up the road from the station. When we arrived 1945 the place was buzzing! Happy hour (17-18hr) ended nearly two agos previous but the place was lively! Our waitress seated us promptly, and the food was excellent. I went for the Angus burger rare - it arrived medium but was so good i didnt care to complain. I’d also recommend the tacos! In addition to the delicious food, theres beers on tap. Forget this place if you want St*lla or B*dWasser - they have an EXCELLENT ale selection and a well stocked bar - so if your palette prefers fizzy water, steer clear ( please ). My ONLY criticism is the lighting - way too bright!! Go for warm white or just some off?! Overall an excellent experience though, and one we will return to. Big Horn may have a serious rival.. at last!

Interesting place in Argentiere. Cod tacos were good and filling. Prices are a little high but this is a tourist area. Limited dinner menu and varied bar menu.

Amazing. Best burger I have had in a long time. Tasted very freshly made. Fries were hot and salad was great! Loved being able to get half salad and half fries. So good!!

Sometimes it is very crowded and you have to wait a little until you are served. The menu is not very diverse, but the food is very good.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés sur la route de Chamonix. Nous avons choisi le burger angus bacon, accompagné de frites et d'une petite salade. La salade est originale et très bonne. Les frites ne sont pas les meilleures que l'on ait mangé mais le burger est joliment servi et absolument délicieux.

This was the best restaurant I've been to in a while. We were a group of 8 people and I tried everything that everyone bought. The burger, aubergine Parm, fish taco, shrimp taco we're all amazing. The salad and fries that came with my burger were also so good. This was the best food I had on my trip. Genuinely had such a good time.

Fabulous outdoor seating, run by a lovely young couple. Food and drink are excellent, service is outstanding.

The food was decent for what it was, but under-seasoned. Everything just tasted bland to me. The dishes were interesting though. Very slow service and there were flies buzzing around, but we were happy to get a hot meal and sit down.

What a great place, offering the modern fusion food. Their ceviche, tacos and burgers are just excellent! Highly recommended! Their team is very accommodating and they are dog friendly. My friends went back for a New Year’s party there and the ambience according to them was great!

Un voyage sud-américain tant par l'équipe que par les saveurs. On y mange aussi bien qu'on y boit, idéal pour passer un bon moment entre amis.

Great food, beer, and service

Stylish cafe bar close to the train station. Stopped for a mid afternoon drink. Nice sofas outside to chill. Super friendly bar man who went out of his way to find a drink that our boys would like, they went for hot chocs in the end. Recommended apparently. A local beer and wine for me and the wife.

Soirée entre amis, on a passé un super moment! Les plats sont excellents et les ingrédients de qualité, avec des portions généreuses. Menu original avec des plats d'inspiration Sud Américaine (ceviche super!), des burgers délicieux et nombreux plats végétariens. Large choix de cocktails et bières. Cuisine et service top!

Bar de qualité et personnel adorable. Je recommande vivement que ce soit pour boire un chocolat chaud après une journée de ski, boire des coups, manger quelques tapas (poulet panko et légumes tampura miam-miam) et manger un repas excellent! Je me suis régalée avec le cevice et la côte de porc, je me tarde de revenir tester les autres plats qui font preuve d'une cuisine moderne, delicate et gourmande. Les desserts sont aussi succulents. Bref je recommande à 100% les yeux fermés!

Excellent Guiness

Great little bar with a range of drinks and a sense of humor! Drop in for an après ski beverage or late night, post-dinner, festivities. Either way you won't be disappointed with the options. The only drawback we experienced was a bad cover song on repeat for over half an hour, not too much of a problem but it might have turned a two drink visit into a single drink stop.

My favourite place for a beer in Argentiere. Staff are relaxed and very cool - let you chose a tune you like and play it for you. Beer and food prices and extremely reasonable for the area. Dog friendly with a nice little outdoor spot.

Soirée Paella sympa

Après avoir attendu 15 minutes en terrasse, le serveur passant maintes fois devant nous pour débarrasser les autres tables, aucun bonjour ni de prise de commande.. nous avons donc changé de bar

Cadre : Bar situé proche de la place avec une agréable terrasse et entourait de beaux paysages. Ambiance : Lieu calme et décoration sympa. Mais pas tout à fait dans l'esprit d'un bar. Service : Personnels très aimables. Boissons : Très larges choix de boissons. Prix : Les différents prix sont souvent un peu élevés mais pour la qualité des produits ça passe largement. Je recommande donc cette établissement.

Excelente Staff, excelentes cervejas, cardápio de snacks limitado, porém de ótima qualidade! Recomendíssimo.

Personnel très sympa, la déco est clean mais pas complètement esprit pub, la bière est un peu chère (€9 la pinte de Guiness) même si ça peut paraître normal vu qu'il s'agit d'Argentiere. La carte des bières est pertinente même s'il manque une IPA. Après je suis un peu exigeant question pub :-) Je recommande d'y faire un tour, il paraît que la nourriture est top même si je n'ai pas eu le temps d'essayer!

Nous venons ici plusieurs fois par an profiter de l'ambiance pub et des délicieux gratins de nachos !

Great selection of beers and friendly atmosphere. When we arrived there the table was dirty and no one came to clean it for two hours. We left after this. Also, people may come with their pets (which is a good thing), but they leave them free to walk. Sometimes is a small dog, sometimes a Saint Bernard which won't listen. Other than this, we enjoyed it :)

Black labs under the table, US/UK quality pub food, great beer selection and a clear preference for Gore-Tex over glitter make this one of the best ski town bars I have been to in a long time. We spent a week in Argentiere and went here five times at various points in the day. Enough said.

Very anglophone. Can be quiet. Can be party atmosphere. Good food. Reasonable prices (for Chamonix).

Great atmosphere; great food; reasonably priced; central location and finally but most importantly, an owner with a "can do" and uber-friendly attitude. Dave has his soul invested in this business and goes way above any paid employee in his efforts.

The owner/bar keep is a great guy who made us feel very welcomed in his bar. He speaks several languages and is friendly to all of his patrons. We were very appreciative of his help giving us advice of things to do in the area. The short ribs on The Office's were easily the best ribs I've ever had in my life. The burgers and steaks were also delicious. If you happen to be traveling to the Chamonix-Mont Blanc area, definitely take some time to swing by The Office.
