Une décoration calme et apaisante malgré des touristes mal éduqués qui font du bruit. Par exemple le lieu est tellement petit qu’un bébé qui crie ce n’est pas une bonne idée.

A perfect little break from skiing. They were very accommodating with our dietary needs and let us stay as long as we liked, even though they were quite full for lunch. The genmaicha tea was especially good!

1. 전반적인 분위 및 운영 분위기는 매우 매우 캐쥬얼 합니다. 외부에 좌석이 있기는 한데 식사 장소라기 보다는 대기 장소라고 생각하는게 좋아요. 좌석은 지하에 있는데 매우 협소하여 2인 이상 테이블에 앉아 함께 식사하고 싶다면 예약이 필수입니다. 마감 1시간 정도 전부터는 테이크 아웃만 가능하니 참고하면 좋겠습니다. 2. 음식 저희는 미소 타마고 라멘을 먹었습니다. 일본 현지 혹은 한국에서 맛볼 수 있는 통상적인 맛보다는 더 단 편이지만 나쁘지 않았습니다. 외국인(유러피안, 아메리칸 등등) 입맛에 좀 더 맞춰져있다고 생각하면 됩니다.

국물있는 음식이 먹고 싶어서 찾아갔는데 맛있었어요. 프랑스에서 먹은 아시아음식 중에 가장 오리지널에 가까운 맛이었습니다. 저녁시간 조금 이전에 가서 그런지 웨이팅 없고 음식도 빨리 나와서 좋았었습니다.

Les plats sont préparés avec beaucoup d’amour par un charmant monsieur, toujours souriant et accueillant. Bientôt 3 ans que nous venons régulièrement avec mon compagnon, et la qualité est toujours au rendez-vous. Une adresse réconfortante que l’on recommande les yeux fermés sur Chamonix ! Axel & Claire.

Nothing to write home about. Small place with a nice vibe but really slow service and the ramen is par for the course. The waiter was quick but we waited close to 50 minutes before the appetizers were served. If you decide to try it out I recommend making a reservation as the place can only accommodate a small number of guests.

I ordered a vegetarian ramen, which did not come with any form of protein, only vegetables, so I ordered a tofu starter and requested it at the same time as the ramen, it still arrived as a starter anyway. When the ramen arrived first thing I noticed was that there was not a lot of the broth, it was far below the vegetables and noodles. I put the tofu on top and when I tried the ramen, the whole thing was barely lukewarm almost cold. My partners pork ramen was steaming hot. I looked for the waiter and the owner saw me and asked me the problem, I told her the ramen was cold. She responded that she was surprised because they 'always serve it steaming hot'. I picked up the bowl with my hands and gave it to her. They microwaved it for a short time and when it returned, it was still not hot. The owner very rudely informed me that because I put cold tofu on the top it 'cooled

Nous avons mangé 2 fois à Tanpopo dans le week-end et ce n'est pas pour rien. Les patrons ont dû faire marcher leur imagination pour l'aménagement de ce tout petit restaurant, autant pour la cuisine que pour la salle. L'ambiance est chaleureuse, vous pouvez vous retrouver à partager une table avec des inconnus. Les plats sont savoureux et bien présentés. La dame qui s'est occupée de nous est adorable. Un restaurant dans lequel nous reviendrons manger avec un immense plaisir lors de notre prochain passage à Chamonix.

Really enjoyed our meal here, intimate restaurant with friendly service. Great, fresh and tasty homemade food. We would love to see some more vegetarian options just so we can come back more often.

Deuxième visite chez Tanpopo et toujours aussi conquis ! Les ramens sont excellents, savoureux et généreux, un vrai régal à chaque bouchée. L’endroit est chaleureux, l’accueil agréable, et on sent le soin apporté aux plats. Une valeur sûre pour manger japonais à Chamonix. On reviendra encore, c’est certain !

Really cozy little spot! The staff was so friendly and the food was phenomenal! Everything that I got was delicious. Can’t wait to try more from the menu. Definitely a must go when in Chamonix!

🇫🇷シャモニーでMt.モンブランで有名なエギュイーユ デュ ミディのロープウェイに乗った帰りに、日本食のレストラン発見❗。偶然見つけたご主人が日本人の方のお店。ランチの営業時間を過ぎてましたが、入店させて頂きました。日本語menuが備えられ、豊富な中から選べます。醤油ラーメン、野菜カレー、餃子を頂きました。日本のビールはもちろん、日本酒、焼酎もあります　最初に出された餃子を頂いた時には感激しました。日本でも大好きなメニューですが、どれも絶品です。この味を外国で食べられるなんて凄いです(^-^)✨大満足です。

Rude and unfriendly lady looked after us. Ramen noodles are just 2 minute packet noodles, not udon. Dishes not very tasty. But the worst part was the portion sizes. They were tiny, as a group of five we had to go to another place for more food. My friend described it as his worst food experience in chamonix and I tend to agree with him. Disappointing. Ps: terrible for people with food allergies, we had one person with celiac disease. No gluten free options. She ended up with a side of rice and 4 cubes of cold tofu.

We were served by a woman who, besides being rude, was also racist. The service was slow for the simple fact that we are not French or do not have a British accent. When we were looking at the menu we asked if there was anything gluten-free and with a disgusted face she told us a resounding no, when there was clearly some gluten-free appetizer and finally the lady wanted to charge us for 2 extra dishes that we had not ordered.

It is not the first time I visit this shop. I visited 2 years ago, the food and beer is good. I recommend to people who miss ramen in Chamonix. But this time l visited again, I feel totally disappointed. I understand every restaurant and shop are extremely busy in UTMB week. However, it is not an excuse to provide such bad service to customers. I visited with my friend the day before and the lady told us it was just full. And she felt annoying and asked us to wait far way from the shop. Since we’re very hungry, so we decided went elsewhere. As I said the food is good so I visited other day alone. 일단 대기가 너무 길어요 운이 좋지 않으면 라면 한그릇 먹으려고 대기 40분 이상 할수도 있어요 그래도 따뜻한 국물이 먹고싶었는데 요긴하게 먹었어요. 주방을 얼핏 봤는데 협소하고 혼자서 하시려니 매우 바빠보였습니다. 식사 시간을 피해서 간다면 괜찮을거 같아요.

Rude and racist older woman who didn't even acknowledge me while she welcomed a white family that came in after me. If you see other similar reviews before this, you can see that this isn't an uncommon occurrence. Shame!

The best ramen I ever tried, magnificent. We order the pork ramen with miso, add some soy sauce to the broth, and it was the best combination. Noddles are boil to perfection, as every dish. I’m coming back tomorrow ☺️.

Understand that the restaurant close at 2pm, we came around 1.35-1.40pm ish, with 2 kids. The staff (a lady) said they're closing and no longer accept order. Ok fine, we were standing about 10 meters from the restaurant as we're checking other options nearby that is still open. Then, a white couple came asking for a table. The staff lady seems to check on us if we're still there and waiting for us to go, then take the order from the couple. Well, we walked further but still can see what you are doing man. Nice racist restaurant towards Asian, I just don't understand this behavior exist in such a touristy place like Chamonix.

Un ramen incroyable 😻, une ambiance feutrée et des propriétaires adorables. Chaque saison, un incontournable, chaque saison, été comme hiver, depuis des années.

Coup de cœur ! On est arrivés totalement à l’improviste un vendredi soir, et l’accueil a été topissime. On nous a trouvé une place en un clin d’œil malgré des réservations à venir. L’équipe est aux petits soins, souriante et ultra chaleureuse. Côté cuisine, une vraie découverte ! Les ramens étaient délicieux, cuits d’une manière qu’on ne connaissait pas, avec des saveurs authentiques et maîtrisées. Et mention spéciale pour la salle du bas : on ne s’attend pas du tout à ça de l’extérieur, mais c’est hyper cosy et agréable. Bref, une super adresse à Chamonix, où on mange divinement bien avec une ambiance au top. On recommande à 100 % et on reviendra !

Very good Ramen. Hot! About 15-19 euro for bowls of ramen. I know you can get taken in japan for 800 yen but then again, we're at a legendary French ski town. Looks family run where the patriarch is japanese and also the chef.

We tried to get a table for two at 20:05 and got told they’re not doing tables for two now. Yet the woman seated a table of two, four and three in front of us in the few minutes we waited. She was very rude. The restaurant closes at 21:00 and they turn customers down 55 minutes before closing, it’s pretty sad for a for a Japanese restaurant in a busy town when all the food can be prepared in advanced. Would have liked to try this restaurant as the ramen reviews are good but there’s no time in this world for rude service to come back and try. Atmosphere looked good.

I had a disappointing experience. The staff were nice and polite but the owner who is Japanese was quite the opposite. I had hoped he would be as welcoming as his staff but he was extremely rude and even shouted at my friend when I tried to order my meal. As for ramen, it was just normal.

I went there with my family after our visit to the Mer de Glace, as it was super close to the train station. The food was outstanding, real quality. We ordered the vegetable curry rice and ramen. For our kids the ramen for kids was fantastic as well. The mochi were great too! Totally recommended

超雷的店，點完餐等了45分鐘才出餐，看到麵和湯嚇一大跳，碗很大，麵和湯卻只有一點點，男生三，四口就吃完，味道也很普通，16歐元的拉麵這種品質實在太慘了…… 實際份量跟餐廳照片差距很大，感覺被騙！

소유라멘이 맛있었어요! 국물이 진하진않아서 밍밍하다고 느낄수있는데 그래도 담백해서 다 먹을수있었어요. 양은 적다고느꼈는데 에피타이저랑 다 먹고다면 은근히 배가 차더라고요! 근데 지하아니면 야외밖에 테이블이없어서 좀 아쉬웠어요🥹 야외는 사람들이 많이 지나다니는 길이라 불편하지만 산을 볼수있고 그늘진곳이라 시원합니다!👍

There are plenty of tables outside with a great view of the mountains. We got the curry with pickled vegetables and a ramen dish. The curry had great flavor. However, neither dish was filling for one person (four stars for that reason).

We heard the food in Chamonix was mediocre, and thought to try some Ramen. This place is not to be missed. Just because you’re in France, it is more than okay to go here. The chef was super kind, and makes everything on his own! Hands down, one of the best ramens we have ever had. The service was also amazing, as the gentlemen was super kind to us! We went twice in our short 3 day trip, that’s how good it is.

Our favorite meal in chamonix! The ramen was delicious, the server was wonderful, and we enjoyed the atmosphere from our seat outside!

I am not sure if the owner is Japanese or not. Not enough soup in ramen. Portion is so little. Taste is mediocre. I do not recommend it. Also... ramen is a fast food. You order it and eat it within half an hour. Funny you have to make a reservation for it.

구글맵 후기가 안 좋아서 걱정했는데, 저는 정말정말 맛있게 먹었어요 👍 예약 안 하고 오픈하자마 갔는데, 어떻게든 자리 만들어 주셔서 잘 먹었어요! 🍴: 미소 된장국, 카레, seafood ramen(miso soup), 매운 오일, 밥 한 공기 추가 시푸드 라멘에 새우와 오징어 (진미채맛 크크)이 많이 들어가서 좋았고, 면발도 탱글탱글 맛있었어요. 맛없다는 후기를 보신 건지 아님 한국인들의 기대치가 높은 건지 모르겠지만, 저와 친구는 맛있게 먹었어용 평소에 싱겁게 먹는 편이라, 뜨거운물 달라고 해서 약간 싱겁게 만들고 밥 한공기 말아서 밥까지 다 먹었네요 😋 프랑스 샤모니에서 컵라면이 아닌 끓여주는 일본라멘을 먹을 수 있다는 것 자체가 좋았어요~

Très déçue par le ramen curry végétarien que j'ai pris, aucun goût. Le curry était peu épicé et le bouillon fade, ça manquait de sel. J'étais déçue au vu de la plupart des commentaires et du prix (14€). Je n'ai pas trouvé de différence par rapport à des nouilles déshydratées du supermarché... Je suis peut être pas tombée le bon jour. Par contre j'ai pris à emporter et le service était très rapide.

Un cuisinier japonais extra et ses ramens préparés dans la plus pure tradition : un bouillon maison qui a mijoté pendant 20 heures et un choix très variés mais tous sont gourmands et bien présentés . Fidèles depuis plusieurs années c’est un plaisir de retrouver ce lieu intimiste en hiver ou en terrasse . Merci de l’accueil et de ce voyage culinaire au pays des ramens

Je n'aime pas mettre de commentaires négatifs. Je préfère habituellement m'abstenir mais là c'est un peu pousser mémé. pour résumer, rien dans le bol. 14 euros pour de l'eau, des nouilles , 3 morceaux de carottes, un peu d 'épices... Ca fait cher payé et surtout insultant pour la cuisine japonaise. Je suis passionné de cuisine du monde mais jamais je n'ai mangé un truc aussi insignifiant. J'adore le Satsuki, le Yumi dori qui font de la qualité mais là ... euh comment dire non. Le prix je m'en fiche mais qu'on propose de la qualité et de quoi manger !! C'est mon avis de connaisseur culinaire mais en aucun cas je me me permettrai de vous dire de fuir cet endroit ou quel qu'autre incitation. Faites votre expérience personnelle.

Très déçue. Entrée dangereuse car on arrive devant un escalier raide qui descend dans une cave. La patronne est désagréable face aux clients qui ne parlent ni français, ni anglais et qui ont du mal à commander.Totalement inacceptable. Les plats ? Si vous avez faim, c'est cher payé pour si peu. Cuisine qui a peu d'intérêt gustatif. Du coup, on est allé ailleurs pour remplir notre estomac.

食物等待时间过长，饺子尝起来是速冻的，可以随便吃吃但是如果很饿就不要来。

Unbelievable, i got told that me and my family are not allowed to eat at their place as we got too many people😤😤 we suggested that we can be separated still they used extremely bad and rude manners telling us to leave. The chef replied in a very annoying way telling us that they won't allow us to get inside nor have a try at their food. I've been to Japan and had their traditional ramen before and their service manners were very different, they were really polite and nice to us, but somehow over here, we got treated in a very different way, very rude and disrespectful manners . As a conclusion, I don't recommend you to go to this restaurant if you have 2 or more people going or get ready being told to leave.

It’s been a pleasure to be eating true Japanese food in such a “far away” village in France. It’s been a shame that I personally got refused to enter the restaurant due to the chef claim that they cannot handle the amount of people we had, we are willing to sit separately however still got refused. My family and my friends are very very disappointed to both the extreme impolite service so as the hugely disrespectful tone as we were just trying to appreciate the food. As I haven’t yet have a chance to try the food therefore no comments can be given, however given that the service is that poor I wound probably never ever come back again, for me this restaurant is not recommended if you have more that 2 people.

Sans aucun doute mon restaurant favoris à Chamonix. La famille du Tanpopo nous fait découvrir sa cuisine avec passion et cela se ressent dans le menu proposé. Il faudra penser à réserver avant de vous y rendre car l'endroit est petit et très rapidement complet (comme tout bon restaurant de ramen qui se respecte !). Un ramen végétarien est proposé et je recommande le tiramisu au matcha en dessert.

Payer 15 € un curry de bœuf à emporter avec 2 morceaux de viande :cher pour du riz en sauce même à Chamonix et en guise d'ambiance d'attente une engueulade entre employés car l'un préfère faire griller ses clients au soleil plutôt que de baisser le store qui leur a coûté 5000 €,sympa non ?

Bon ramens mais nous avons trouvé que le bouillon n’avait pas assez de goût et le porc était un peu sec. Le chef cuisinier était très appliqué en cuisine ce qui est appréciable.

We first went to this restaurant in 2014. Every time my family and I visit Chamonix, we make sure to have a meal here. My parents still remember the owner and the daughter. We love this restaurant and we look forward to coming back soon! Much gratitude from NYC.

One of the best meals I ate my entire vacation at South France. Went to Tanpopo for the first time last week as part of my stay in Chamonix and I recommend this lovely resturant to anyone who loves good quality ramen. The waiter and the Chef were very proffessional and friendly to a point where we said to the Chef himself goodbye and thanks for a delicious meal. Ask for the waiter's recommendation if you go, it worked for us well.

Très déçue de ce restaurant : des serveurs peu agréables, quasiment une heure d'attente pour que le mauvais plat soit servi puis échangé sans la moindre excuse. Par dessus le tout les plats n'étaient ni généreux ou excellents.

Le pire ramen que j’ai manger de ma vie. Clairement des nouilles instantanées avec un morceau de viande sec et un œuf. N’emmenez pas un japonais dans ce restaurant il va faire une crise de panique. Pathétique.

Gyoza is excellent. The Currey rice is very nice but the Ramen can be better.

El servicio muy correcto ✅, comimos en la terraza y la preparación de los platos fue bastante rápida a pesar de estar el local casi a tope. Si vuelvo a Chamonix 🏔️ repito seguro 👍🏻

Mon restaurant préféré. Tout est succulent et préparer avec finesse. On sent l'expérience et l'amour du cuisinier. Le service est parfait je ne reprocherait jamais le temps ni le fait que des fois il n'y a plus de place car c'est vraiment vraiment vraiment très bon !!!

Excellent ramen Hakko avec natto, nori et soupe miso maison succulente, le chef est un vrai artisan, rigoureux et sophistiqué. Le ramen est parfait pour se réchauffer sous la neige et apporte la quantité d'énergie idéale pour le sport d'hiver. Excellent service et ambiance jazzy tamisée (Nina Simone Norah Jones Nat King Cole), on y passe un très agréable moment même si le restaurant est minuscule et qu'on mange à la va-vite (comme souvent au Japon). Dommage de ne pas avoir découvert ce restaurant plus tôt, on reviendra y manger plus souvent pour les prochains séjours à Chamonix .

Best handmade ramen noodles in town and valley. There's not many tables so I suggest you to book yours before going :) The prices are very reasonable.

Très déçu de mon expérience chez Tanpopo. J'ai commandé à emporter plusieurs plats, notamment le Tanpopo ramen, un curry végétarien et un curry Tanpopo. Ils manquaient à vrai dire de saveurs, fades et assez chers pour la quantité prévue. Mais le service reste le plus décevant pour moi. J'ai demandé conseil au chef pour savoir quel ramen était sa spécialité ; il m'a répondu de manière assez sèche qu'il n'avait pas le temps de me parler. Et au moment de récupérer ma commande 20 minutes plus tard, pas un mot, pas un regard, et aucune réponse à mon "arigato". Je ne vois pas l'intérêt de mettre en évidence une cuisine ouverte dès l'entrée du restaurant pour être aussi antipathique avec vos clients. Très en dessous de mon expérience chez d'autres restaurants de ramen, et je confirme les retours de clients japonais qui sont surpris de voir d

Nous avons eu des bons ramens lors d un soir gelé. Le prix reste quand même élevé pour la portion donnée mais je recommande quand même pour ceux qui ont envie de manger chaud quand il fait froid 🥶

Les ramens sont bon et les mochis aussi par contre pour les mochis j'ai l'impression que seul le matcha et le chocolat et fait maison qui sont super bon par contre le Sakura non, la recette du curry a revoir, et la carte des ramens on dirait qu'il sont tous pareil d un ramen à l'autre a part un haricot de plus ou carotte.

To be fair, food taste was quite decent but the portions😱! Even smaller than portions in Japan, which i already found little and never expected such sizes in Europe. Had to go next door to McDonald's to have a second dinner.

Very cute restaurant and delicious food. Gluten free and vegetarian options. Staff really lovely and welcoming. Ate there twice!!

Après être revenu du Japon j'ai goûté les ramen de presque toutes les grandes villes de France et celui ci est le meilleur que j'ai mangé !

The sitting was nice. Mistly for ramen and rice curry. For ramen - the miso base was nicer than the (rather basic) soy base.

Amazing experience. I ordered a Tanpopo ramen with an extra egg and it was really good. Server’s suggestions were on point. Great service and the chef is very passionate about his creations.

The ramen is not bad, but the flavor is not as robust as I am used to. Service is a bit slow, but generally friendly. The tofu appetizer had a delicious sauce, but the tofu is served raw, which I was not a fan of. And double check your change, the guy who checked me out was terrible at math, even after I tried to make it easy on him.

tasty authentic ramen. Shoyu and miso based, with simple topping, but noodle is great. service is very responsive and speed is satisfactory. I recommend it when you are medium hungry.

Vegan order for the main course: Yasai ramen and note choosing the vegetable broth. This should do the trick. Enjoy! Since it’s tricky to find a vegan option in this town they get four stars for that fact. Nice people taking orders. Pay at the bar when you’re good to go :)

日本人は特にがっかりするので行かないほうがいいかも。餃子はまだ美味しいと言えたけど（とはいえ私のほうが美味しく作る自信はある）、ラーメンに関しては、とにかくスープの味が薄すぎた。彼氏は醤油ベースの卵ラーメン、私は味噌ベースのバターコーンラーメン。細縮れ麺で学食で出てくるラーメンの麺みたいな感じ。スープは例えると家でスープ自作して結局ダシとか旨味が足りなくて失敗したなぁみたいな薄い味。期待しすぎたのかもですが、非常に残念でした。良い評価をつけてる人もいるので味にむらがあるのか、日本のラーメンを知らないかどっちかかな、、、

But just need 5 minutes to eat all of it. ——— Ramen: very very small potion of ramen, two slices of bamboo, two half of snow peas, few of bean sprouts, one and a half pork. And I was told that it’s not possible to add another portion of pork…… (Price from 12.5). ——— Not recommend. It’s below average quality and quantity.

Un régal ! La carte propose des ramens et des currys, et c'est trop bon !

Ramens constitués à 90%de nouilles, un seul haricot, et 2 minuscules pousses de bambous, qq pousses de soja.2 petits morceaux de viande sans goût. Seul l oeuf est bien cuisiné. Loin du vrai ramen avec ingrédients variés et la portion est petite. Bref , cher et pas à la hauteur.

Alors comment dire ... c'est bon mais en terme de quantité, c'est assez peu pour le prix et on a qd même attendu 1 heure avant d'être servi alors qu'on fait partie des premiers clients :(

Très déçu de ce restaurant japonais pour lequel j'avais un excellent souvenir il y a 3 ans. Un Ramen à 15 eur avec 1 mange tout, 1 lamelle de porc, en gros un Aiki Noodle amélioré. Sans compter le côté rendement des tables, pressez vous il y a du monde. Du gros foutage de gueule

Accueil super, plat très bon, service rapide, le chef prépare vos plat a la vue de tous ce qui est pour moi un bon signe, il n'a rien à cacher, le serveur au top et de très bon conseil. On y a été deux fois en une semaine. Je recommande sans hésitation et bonne continuation à vous.

The curry dish doesn’t look good…

Ce restaurant japonais est tenu par un couple Franco-Japonais est une belle découverte à Chamonix. Non seulement il propose une carte limitée aux ramens et curry, ce qui est toujours bon signe pour un (vrai) restaurant japonais, mais également un bon choix de sake et petites entrées comme les traditionnels gyozas et edamame. J'ai testé le ramen Fuji au bouillon sauce soja avec ces poireaux finement coupés et le curry de bœuf, j'ai été transférée quelques instants au Japon comme dans mes voyages... Une excellente adresse a ne pas rater, les prix y sont très raisonnables et le staff très serviable.

Ne correspond pas à l'attente d'un site magnifique Chamonix. Trop d'attente le chef est seul pas professionnel le service est vraiment dans la confusion. le rosé bio pas bon , le contenu du repas petit portion pour le prix. Il y a mieux sur Chamonix ce restaurant est vraiment pour le tourisme de passage pas pour des locaux souhaitant manger autre chose !!!

I don't get the hype. The staff is lovely and the vibe is great, but I'm sorry to say the food was mediocre at its best.

Idéal pour un repas sur le pouce, à emporter, juste avant un train par exemple. Les ramens étaient très bons, plutôt bonne quantité et surtout préparés rapidement. La mini-terrasse va très bien, mais il est facile de s'installer un peu plus loin pour profiter du soleil. Bon à savoir: la cuisine est juste à droite en entrant tandis qu'à gauche, un escalier mène à la salle, en bas. Ca peut surprendre. Mieux vaut le savoir si on vient en groupe.

Super ramen, aussi bon qu'au Japon, ce qui est très rare en France.. Petit mais cozy, penser à réserver.

Service hyper hostile contre les asiatiques. Faut pas y passer si vous souhaiter une soupe « chaude » au Chamonix pendant l’hiver.

Bel accueil, les ramens sont très bons. J’ai retrouvé les saveurs du Japon. La gérante et le chef sont très sympathique.
