What an absolute joy this place is for all. The service, choice of drinks and the quality of food is all superb. It is very hard to find a place that provides great portions - look no further, because you’ll be well fed here. Staff speak both English and French, and are well known around the town. They also put on specials and theme nights throughout the seasons. We visited in the summer. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed 🤩🙌

La Marmotte d’Or is a very nice pub in Montriond because the staff are very nice they are also welcoming the service is very good and the food is amazing and there is a very nice view. If you like drinking in pubs in montriond I would highly recommend this pub.

Great bar with spectacular views, staff great and accomadating..

Loved this place so much during our stay. Hosts and staff lovely and welcoming and they even helped me charge my phone and reserve tables for euro matches! Food was absolutely restaurant quality amazing and with generous portions. They also have the beautiful gorgeous views out the back from the elevated balcony/beer garden. Hope to see you guy's again,it was a pleasure!😊

We 💜 the Marmotte D'Or. We were searching for places to buy in Morzine, and visited somewhere in Montriond which wasn't quite right. Popped into this pub after the viewing and the Marmotte sold us on Montriond (where we now live). The staff/ owners are really welcoming, lovely people who bend over backwards to make sure you have a great time. The terrace view is the best in valley for summer drinks and there is a great drink/ food selection. Fish & Chips Friday and off-season Roasts on a Sunday. Best pub in the Alps!

Great place, great service. Definitely going back owner was great putting tables out for us, staff are very welcoming. Food is very good, wrap of the day was very nice also the chicken nuggets(breast fillets) where epic 😋

The no 1 place to stop in Montriond, great pub great atmosphere, lovely food, and superb hosts, highly recommended.

Good spot for drinks and food. Generous portion sizes and will leave you satisfied especially after a day on the slopes. Quick service, friendly and a bonus of a good Guinness

The original Montriond bar and still the best. The even mix of French and English says something about the bar and the owners. Food and drink equally good and always convivial and welcoming with regular live music nights in the 8 years I've been going. Long may or continue!

Another little gem in the Portes du Soleil ski area. The marmotte is a great place with atmosphere and a good selection of drinks. We always visit when we go snowboarding and there is always a good mix of locals, regulars and visitors. Good views out the back and well located in Montriond for a stop off on the way back from Ardent or passing through to or from Morzine.

Great delicious menu, realistically priced. Staff are lovely they are so welcoming and super efficient. We love coming to the marmotte d' or!!!!

Pub très convivial ou les locaux ont l'habitude de se réunir. Ils proposent des plats à grignoter (les champignons en tempura sont top). Prix vraiment attractifs (4€ le verre de vin). Personnel adorable

There have to be better options in the area. Even the frites were a disappointment.

Essen gut (Paninis, loaded fries yommy), Preis-Leistung gut, hat Flair, es gibt Alkohol und Tabak.

Excellent view and selection of beers with friendly staff and great opening hours. As a bar/pub it's 5/5 and the only reason we're giving it a 4 is because we saw the menu looked like it had branched out into some more gourmet options, which were sadly not cooked very well, but I had the pork belly which was delicious so just make sure to go for pub classics as they will delivery them excellently :)

What a great place. Super friendly. Fabulous food, burgers and pies are a must have. I also love their Nasi Goering and Singapore noodles. The live music on Tuesday's is a fabulous, fun night out.

Great place for a drink or a quick bite to eat. Their weekend brunch menu is worth the visit. Only place in Morzine area to have Brooklyn larger. Great staff speak both English and French.
