Great place! The atmosphere was amazing. I believe Mark is the owner. He and his staff were really wonderful. They were on top of everything. Very friendly people. You felt very at home. Everyone talked to everyone. There were a lot of regulars there. A mix of English and French. The music was great. Chris Kern played that night and the whole place was hopping. Everyone was singing and dancing and having a great time. Beware of the steep steps to the bathroom. They are ancient and original to the building and really cool!

Lieu très convivial. Beaucoup de nationalité s y croise . Patron et patronne très agréable. De superbe soirée et rencontres faite dans se lieu . Tout type de boissons son disponible. Rhum whisky bière (belge , allemande, ect) Champagne et bien d autre . Je conseille de s arrêter boire un petit café à 16h00 pour découvrir le lieu.

Great bar at the bottom of the slopes of St Jean. Always made to feel very welcome. Superb place for an apres pint or to watch sport.

Great atmosphere, always friendly

A very tastefully decorated bar with a traditional feel to it. Plenty of local french people in there so not too touristy. It is a really nice friendly bar with a great atmosphere. It's the sort of place where you feel comfortable chatting to complete strangers. I didn't eat there so can't comment on the food but the Camden Pale Ale was gorgeous, not shockingly expensive either. The owner Mark is really welcoming and barman Greg adds his own French style to the service. I cannot recommend this bar highly enough

Great atmosphere and Mark is one of the best host's you'll ever meet. Been using this bar for many years... But it's buzzing know with Mark's ownership.

Wonderful local bar, with excellent and friendly service. You can get plenty more than a blonde lager in here and the bar snacks are good value too. I love the atmosphere in this place - summer or winter. It’s right by the gondola station and so perfect for après too. It’s been through a few iterations over the years and I think the current owners have nailed it.

Cracking bar situated at the St Jean D’Aulps telecabine. Good mix of locals and visitors giving it a great vibe. The selection of aperitifs, beers and spirits is excellent and Mark is a brilliant host - Very friendly, full of information on the local area and good craic! Definitely call in if you are in the area.

Mark is a fab host ... fabulous atmosphere, lovely snacks and good selection of beers, wines and shots! Lots of Ski Instructors drink there which tells you something. My go to bar when visiting SJD. A must visit

A great little bar / tapas restaurant under new ownership of Mark - a "famous" Morzine "maitre d"... - who is fulfilling his dream of delivering charming great service with a fine selection of beers, wines, spirts and eats. Definitely worth a visit... and a perfect stop after a day of skiing and or a circuit of the Grand Turche.at St Jean d'Aulps.

Don't let the bar façade fool you. It is also a great place to eat. Went to eat here with 6 adults and 4 children. Small menu, but delicous food!! Whether you take the salads, soup, fish, burgers or meat dish: it was absoluty very nice. And the owner proved to be a true and very entertaining host. Go there!

Delicious meal, friendly staff, good service and atmosphere.

These guys rescued us from a failed booking at L'Efanle and were brilliant. The new owners were very helpful and the food was lovely, with lots of beer and wine readily available! We will definitely go again...
