Encore un excellent séjour au Hameau: Magnifiques restaurants, piscine et spa exceptionnels, service au top (notamment la navette hyper efficace et pratique), localisation tres centrale. Et des chambres confortables avec de splendides vues

Truly exception stay, with personal touches throughout. We felt well looked after from the minute we arrived, and all the staff (without exception) did the hotel proud. The location is wonderful, close enough to everything while feeling private.

Everything about our stay was fantastic, but what really stood out was the customer service and housekeeping. Staff went out of their way to ensure our experience was top-notch. It was as if they knew what we were thinking and acted before we even asked them! As well, every single person provided that level of service, no matter what their role was. Hôtel Hameau Albert 1er created an amazing snowboard week for my partner and me.

What a great trip with family and friends to Chamonix! We were lucky enough to stay at this Relais & Chateaux property, which was the best. The location, amenities, staff and incredible food made our stay memorable. Highly recommend!! **And we loved the piano player! :)

Everything about this hotel is exceptional--the location, the spa, the restaurants, and the spacious and well-appointed rooms. But the pièce de résistance is the service--everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to meet our every request. The pictures online do not do it justice. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

I travelled for the weekend. We mostly had a spa weekend and a bit of hiking around Chamonix. It was a great expereince and we loved the place.

Definitely would stay here again and in a suite. Gorgeous designer accommodations, with plush bedding and towels. Very good room cleaning. Had some laundry done and they did an excellent job. Nice breakfast and stunning small lounge. Received a spa massage and very good quality. Convenient location just outside of town center but easy walk. Beautiful views. Really loved the ski shop next door that made renting equipment very easy. Hotel car drove and picked us up from slopes. Everything was very Concierge! Loved it here!

Great time at the Albert Hameau! The driver was fabulous taking us to Le Tour, Brevant and the bus for a trip to Courmayeur.

Pool is cold (defeats the purpose of an outdoor heated pool as advertised), spa is dated (facilities reflect an average hotel at best), breakfast is absolutely not up to par (runny eggs, poor presentation and service, watery coffee), they charge 5 euros for each bottle of filtered tap water. Staff doesn’t seem to care about your stay or satisfaction, and make no effort made to remediate issues. ||||I’ve had the privilege at staying at several five star hotels and resorts in my life - this was likely the worst of them unfortunately. ||||On the positive side, the chalets and rooms were very nice and charming. The ski experience is seamless (drivers and pickup/drop is great), ski rentals are down the block. ||||Despite these positives, the value for the money is simply not there and our expectations were not met. Following on from my stay here with my daughter in January 2025, I went solo this year and had another highly enjoyable experience. Good room (although it took me a couple of days to get the overnight temperature right - the room can get very hot and they disable the cooling airconditioning in winter {it would have been nice to have been told that on arrival]). ||||I ate at the restaurant in the hotel once and Maison Carrier twice - all highly recommended.||||The staff are friendly and efficient. There's a hotel shuttle mini-bus which takes and picks up skiers to and from the various ski areas in Chamonix. This is an excellent service. Big shout out to Daniel from Madeira who is the dedicated driver this year. A lovely fella, friendly and helpful.

Bien qu’en pleine saison hivernale , accueil à la fois familial et très professionnel . Le changement de chambre suite à une réservation tardive pour un séjour de deux nuits s’est passé comme par enchantement . Chambres très spacieuses avec un joli mélange de mobilier alpin traditionnel et une décoration moderne et épurée . Jolies vues sur le mont blanc de jour et le Chamonix nocturne la nuit .|Agréable cheminée facile d’utilisation et safe . Grandes Salles de bains fonctionnelles avec douche et bains bouillonnants .|Le calme est étonnant .|Un joli séjour à refaire

L’endroit est incroyable, la cuisine est exceptionnelle, on a adoré à l’accueil, et puis, pendant cette période de Noël, Chamonix est juste magnifique. Nous avons profité de notre séjour ici pour monter également le second restaurant et manger Savoyard

A very solid luxury mountain hotel with lots going for it but some minor areas with room for improvement given the price and 5 star hotel class. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were well-appointed, comfortable, and very clean. Great breakfast including a machine setup to make your own chocolate hazelnut spread. The michelin starred restaurant is exceptional. The scenery was stunning. We had issues with the rooms running hot even with the thermostat turned off and the radiator itself turned off. The reception desk was repeatedly staffed by one person leading to wait times. The vegetarian options of the main hotel restaurant (La Maison Carrier) could also be improved. It was also a bit inconvenient to get back into the hotel on foot as the gate closest to the train station did not have a room key reader on the outside.

The property was in a great location and the grounds were beautiful. The hotel staff were all excellent and very accommodating. The spa was very nice and the indoor/outdoor pool was a nice touch. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Beautiful and quiet place in the center of Chamonix, with a super nice garden. Rooms are very clean and nice service!

Nous avons effectué un superbe séjour à l'hotel. C'est un bel hôtel, bien placé. On a du mal à croire qu'on est en plein centre ville de Chamonix: nous avons l'impression d'être vraiment dans une bulle à part. L'acceuil était agréable - service voiturier, ils nous ont amené nos sacs directement en chambre. Ils se sont aussi occupés de mettre en charge notre voiture. Nous avions pris la chambre classique avec grand lit - literie très confortable, douche agréable, je regrette juste peut-être une déco un peu simpliste et le manque de capsule de café à disposition. Cependant - nous avons beaucoup apprécié les services et attentions proposés par l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner était aussi excellent. One of the best hotel experiences i have ever had. Its out of a story book. Picture Beauty and the beast coming to life. The staff was great, the grounds are spectacular. There are fruit trees, indoor outdoor pool, 360 views of the mountains. The hotel is right in the heart of town. I could go on and on for days if you are even remotely thinking about booking a place I can't say enough great things not only about the hotel but the town and people of Chamonix!!

Une parenthèse enchantée lors de notre escapade dans cet établissement doté de tous ce que l’on peut attendre. Un emplacement au cœur de Chamonix, tout le personnel aux petits soins et très attentionné, une chambre très confortable, un spa très agréable… le bar offre d’excellents cocktails création maison, et la table étoilée a ravi nos papilles dans un cadre feutré. Enfin, un petit déjeuner digne d’un petit brunch avec un panorama hors du commun. Un séjour qui n’aspire qu’à être renouvelé… merci pour ces merveilleux moments.

J’aurais pris un 50 minutes additionnel si j’avais eu le temps et si elle avait acceptée bien sûr. Alors 10/10 pour notre trop court séjour ||

Un hameau aux prestations complètes, de qualité, dans un cadre verdoyant, calme, bien aménagé et bien agencé au cœur de la Ville de CHAMONIX.. Des prestations pouvant répondre aux attentes de chacun, avec un personnel attentionné et sympathique.

They just can’t do enough for you, what lovely staff. Presents at check-in, check-out, the rarified pillow chocolate. Wahoo The rooms are a little small and perhaps not the comfiest bed of my life, but nicely decorated and modern. The breakfast spread doesn’t look huge and so we were a bit stingy and didn’t fork out the €34 each. Don’t forget that omelettes are an extra too… Would come again but maybe not pay some of the mega high prices in peak season P.S. they do offer a shuttle to the ski station if you’re worried it’s too far away. It’s a pretty big hill anyway so you’d want that from any hotel

just unbelievable. i have stayed at a LOT of hotels and honestly this is up there with the best of the best. our room had the most STUNNING window view of mont blanc to wake up to every morning, was so, so clean and well laid out and had a HUGE bathroom with tub and shower. we were in the more modern of the hotels, and from check in to check out it was just an absolute five star experience. the grounds are probably the nicest i've ever seen at a hotel, between the gardens, the blooms, the bees and the pool area. it's perfectly tucked away off the main road so everything in Chamonix is close but when we would come home at night it felt private and quiet. service was astounding. simply cannot say enough good things and cannot wait to be back!

We stayed here twice - each end of our TMB hike. The attention to detail, food and service is superb. We highly recommend the summer outdoor dining and the breakfast.

What a beautiful and charming hotel in the lovely Chamonix! We loved the cozy wood cabin feel, adorned with vibrant flowers—such a special experience for us city dwellers. The attention to detail and the care the staff put into keeping everything immaculate truly impressed us. We especially appreciated the hotel shuttle service, which made getting to and from the train stations and the Aiguille du Midi cable car seamless. Our driver even made sure we boarded the correct train for our next journey—above and beyond! Our little one had a great time at the small playground by the entrance. Both on-site restaurants—including the Michelin-starred one—were exceptional. Breakfast was simple, fresh, and delicious, served in a lovely garden setting. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of apples available in the lounge throughout the day—we happen to love apples!

It’s rare to find a hotel that checks every box but this one is it. We had an absolutely incredible stay here. The service is impeccable and the grounds, spa and pool are so so lovely. If we ever come back there’s no question we’ll be staying here again.

By far the best hotel we experienced during our trip to France. The service was exceptional — attentive, warm. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the facilities were second to none: a beautiful pool and spa with stunning views, large and serene sauna and steam room. The views were breathtaking, and the property itself is both stunning and immaculately maintained. Truly a dream stay!

Hôtel Hameau Albert 1er in Chamonix offers an exquisite blend of Alpine charm and refined luxury. Quel moment ! Un simple repas se transforme en voyage magique où un simple céleri devient une œuvre d’art, une St Jacques vous emmène dans des saveurs complexes et tellement agréables ! Et ces légumes oubliés : merci de nous les remémorer et de leur rendre hommage. Quant aux desserts, on atteint des sommets sans que le sucre soit omniprésent. Tout cela dans un endroit calme, magique (merci la neige à Noël !) et un personnel présent mais sans être envahissant et avec qui on peut discuter simplement. Merci à eux. En synthèse : un lieu hors du temps qu’il faut avoir fait dans sa vie d’épicurien. Merci pour ce moment.

Emplacement idéal, parking très facile d’accès et très bien situé ( tout se fait à pieds ) personnel accueillant, petit déjeuné bien fourni et personnel aux petits soins pour les clients. Propreté irréprochable. Le côté Spa hamam piscine semi intérieur et sauna est digne de ce nom (assez rare dans les hôtels) endroit très agréable. Nous reviendrons 👍🏻

I have in stayed Le Hameau Albert 1er Hotel for a beautiful experience at Mont Blanc in Chamonix. The hotel, the staff, everything was perfect the day we arrived. Unfortunately, the first the i Went to be hiking on the mountains, i fell and terrible injured both of my feet. We have not left, we decided to stay for the 2 nights booked, even though I was in and out of the hospital. Until our check out, the staff went the extra mile to take care of me and my husband, from breakfast to the room to be firing up the fire place and bringing wine to our room before we sleep - everything and everyone was mindblowingly beautiful and caring. Why did it turned into a bad experience? The day I left I forgot a Prada box (with medicine) as well as a very valuable diamond gold ring on it in the bathroom when I washed my hand. Only after very little hours after we left, I called and send them emails. Rec

We splurged on this hotel and did not regret it. The service and facilities were top notch. We stayed in rooms in both the modern section and Le Ferme and both were wonderful. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. We did not eat at the restaurant, but we did have room service on a very rainy night and it was delicious and fast. Highly recommend!

There is some noise from the bathroom at midnight, which wakes us up and being quite scary, we think maybe it's because of the rain.

We stayed here for 6 nights in the beautiful Chalet Soli. Like a perfect little gingerbread house. Parking underneath (for free). Tiny issue with the air con as we were the first people there since the weather turned hot but the hotel management handled it beautifully and it was fixed the next day. The casual restaurant is beautiful… we didn’t get a chance to eat at the posh one but spoke to another guest who said he had the ‘best meal of his life’ there. The location is perfect… walking distance to all the lovely shops and restaurants (I recommend Mumma) and the Brevant gondola and both the train stations. And the pool area is stunning… perfect spot to watch the parasailing which is also a must do (we used Absolute Chamonix for parasailing). Would recommend to anyone for a very special holiday.

This is a beautiful hotel, an oasis tucked into central Chamonix. We stayed on the first and last nights of our hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc. Both times we arrived early (once in the mid-morning) and our room was ready. Staff were excellent—friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were spacious, including lots of storage, and had excellent views. They have an excellent breakfast buffet, which included fresh honey from their apiary and fresh orange juice. The indoor / outdoor pool was also very nice and has its own great view of the mountains.

Everything about this hotel ( rooms, service, food, ambiance, spa) was great. When I had a sore throat from lunch, the chef was happy to make me a pot of vegetable soup specially for lunch and have it brought to the room. The steam room, sauna, and pool were very relaxing, and the food was excellent.

I can’t get over our stay in this hotel! You get the best view of the mountains with the coziest atmosphere you will ever experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I did not take many pictures of the room, but if you are looking for something cozy and luxurious this is your spot!! I don’t regret booking here, best times ever at this place. Dont miss out on their breakfast! They have amazing croissant!!!! Best I have ever had!!!

Nous avons passé deux jours et une nuit entre amie. Nous avons été très agréablement surprise par la chambre, le spa et le restaurant. Je recommande vivement de prendre le temps de profiter du spa et s’accorder un moment de détente, les massages sont incroyable!

Super séjour de 5 jours à l’hôtel Hameau Albert 1er. Côté hôtel : très bien, la chambre très jolie, le Room service réactif, petit déjeuner au lit ou sur la terrasse, parfait. Le ménage est bien fait avec le lit au carré. Super. Côté restaurant : nous avons mangé 1 fois à la maison Carrier à notre arrivée, restaurant de pays, les plats étaient bons, le service rien de spécial à redire. Pour le restaurant gastronomique Albert 1er, nous avons été présents pour la réouverture le 11/05/24. Un repas de 9 plats avec accords mets et vins. Une superbe expérience qui a été amené en grande partie par le service qui a été exemplaire. Une expérience culinaire avec des produits délicieux et un service quasiment au sommet, qui arrive à créer une proximité avec le client, ce qui fait ressortir ce côté familiale que l’établissement veut donner, tout en restant professionnel. Luxurious hotel with excellent service highly recommended

Parfait, emplacement au calme mais très près du centre de Chamonix, juste dommage que l espace spa, au top en passant, soit juste accessible en passant par l extérieur. Je ne mets que 4 étoiles car quelques petits details, pas de carafe d eau remise dans la chambre, nécessaire de toilette utilisé et non renouvellement lors du ménage, malgré ces details séjour très très agréable

This hotel is fantastic for its design and amenities, but one thing puts it far above the rest. The service is possibly the best I have ever experienced. Not only did the staff energetically assist my trip, they also went above and beyond to fill in the gaps that occur in most itineraries. Their free shuttle to and from the slopes made the skiing so easy. They even assisted with some logistical solutions when my ski group staying at a different hotel had issues with their luggage transfers during a snowstorm. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It was worth the money and then some for an experience I definitely look forward to having again.

Excellent ! Étoile bien méritée ! Le repas est succulent, l’accueil personnalisé parfait. Les détails sont intéressants. Le passage de la propriétaire est toujours un plaisir. Le décor est beau et moderne. La seule petite chose : nous avons bien compris la volonté de souligner les assiettes,  mais il y a trop de luminosité au-dessus qui par moment dérange. On s’est rendu compte plus tard qu’il y a eu aussi quelques oublis (offerts?) sur la note que le personnel n’a pas réclamé. Nous avons apprécié la volonté de ne pas souligner cette faute. (s’il y en a eu une). En tout cas, formidable soirée ! Nous reviendront avec plaisir et conseillons vivement !

L'accueil est parfait. Le restaurant est gastronomique à souhait. Petit bémol sur la baignoire de notre chambre en très très mauvais état... La situation est bien proche centre. Les soins que nous avons choisi étaient plus qu'agréable.

Avis concernant la restauration. Excellent repas, délicat et raffiné. L'ambiance très cosy en adéquation parfaite avec le décors montagnard extérieur. Les couverts de grande qualité, un service parfait sans en faire trop. Absolument rien à redire, tout est parfait. The second time staying here. It’s a magical experience. This second time we stayed around 11 days. You feel like you’re transported to a cozy world and you don’t have to leave to get everything you need for a long stay. Their Michelin starred restaurant downstairs is incredible - it’s a shame that it’s not two stars!!! Then there is their Maison Carrier restaurant which is casual, traditional dining. Oh my gosh - we wanted to go every night. You just book in advance! The morning breakfast is another phenomenal memory. I love how everything, even jams and configure and spreads are made in house! L Anyways. what I love about this five star hotel, is that it’s luxurious, but discreet,. It’s not bling bling and pretentious. J’y ai séjourné pour 2 jours de séminaire d’entreprise qui se sont prolongés d’un week end en couple. Nous avons passé un excellent moment au sein de l’établissement et tout particulièrement grâce à la disponibilité, le gentillesse et la bienveillance de Thierry le veilleur de nuit qui assure une présence remarquable auprès des hôtes de l’hôtel. Il a su anticiper nos besoins et s’est montré auprès de notre équipe puis de ma compagne d’une exquise prévenance. Mille mercis à lui sans qui le séjour n’aurait pas été le même.

Avis concernant la restauration de l'établissement que j'ai eu l'opportunité de découvrir lors d'un diner il y a quelques mois. L'endroit est très agréable grâce à un décor et une ambiance très cosy, chaleureuse et accueillante. La possibilité de prendre un verre avant le repas dans la partie salon est très agréable. Le repas en lui-même fut parfaitement exécuté avec de belles découvertes. Le personnel est très professionnel et sait s'adapter aux différents publics ce qui aide beaucoup à passer un bon moment.

Rustig gelegen op wandelafstand van het centrum van Chamonix Mont Blanc. Gezellig restaurant met professionele bediening. Wij waren in het bijzonder gecharmeerd door de attentvolle maître Antoine. Gastronomie ten top, mooie presentaties. Vooral opmerkelijk creatief met vegetarische, vegan gerechten. Enkel met groenten iets smaakvol en tegelijkertijd een schilderij in het bord toveren is toch een groot bewijs van talent!

My wife and I just spent 8 days in France/Switzerland and this was our favorite hotel. The accommodations, location and the staff were amazing. We had a superb dinner at the restaurant as well. Spa is small but has everything needed. Highly recommend for those looking for an upscale hotel in Chamonix.

Nous avons passé un court mais sublime séjour dans ce magnifique hôtel. Le personnel et la direction sont très professionnels et accueillants. Un merci spécial à M. Thierry, qui a pris du temps pour nous présenter la maison Carrier, et qui s'est assuré que nous ayons du bois pour la cheminée de notre chambre, avec une bonne humeur contagieuse et un professionnalisme à toute épreuve. L'espace spa est très agréable, la vue magnifique, malgré le temps couvert c'était un moment de détente parfait. La chambre était très bien agencée, très bien décorée, et la vue superbe. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Encore merci.

Camera al piano terra nell'agriturismo con giardinetto e vista sul monte bianco; stanza enorme, bagno con doccia e vasca idromassaggio e dotata di ogni confort.|Personale attento e cortese. Restaurant Albert 1er 對於水晶愛好者，對於此次用餐體驗感到很驚喜。桌上的燭座跟擺放主餐刀都是使用Chamonix煙晶，很高貴美觀。 餐點： 點了 3 courses menu，但最後帶來的餐點完全超越3 courses。一開始starter帶來視覺衝擊，做成甜點般精美樣式的餐點與入口的味道完全不同，主餐我也同樣有這種感受，意想不到卻又很好吃，不禁思考我們是否都太容易被過去以為的事物制約。 每道菜的層次感跟調味都很棒，小小可惜的是我覺得主餐的小牛肉非常嫩但外層香料調的鹹味有點過重，如果減少一點鹽分就完美。 甜點也不甜膩，非常好吃，最後雖然沒有點咖啡但還是送上了配咖啡的小點，擺設的像個小花園一般賞心悅目。 環境：餐廳位置指示清楚，進入餐廳後先是被現場演唱的音樂聲感動，那位女士唱的非常好，選的歌也不錯，與餐廳優雅的佈置相輔，且左邊落地窗外就是美麗的花園，帶出完美的用餐環境。 服務：幫忙選的搭餐酒品都不錯，每道餐點也都會認真介紹跟講解用餐順序，且非常注意小細節，不用眼神示意，server都會先幫你注意到，讓用餐流程都很順暢，這點很不錯。 氣氛：餐廳一開始的氣氛很不錯，非常安靜，後來旁邊來了一桌一直不斷講話的客人，對於用餐感受稍微有點影響。 在這裡用餐的整體感受都太好了，我一直想要嘗試tasting menu，無奈最近胃口實在不大，如果下次有機會再來Chamonix，必定再訪。超級推薦！

We have been to the restaurant Albert 1. It is doubtlesly not a 1 star restaurant, but a 2 stars. Perrin is the hotel and the restaurants manager. They currently celebrate 120 years anniversary. I told her she has done a wonderful job. Damian Leveau is the restaurant's chef. He really cooks exceptionally.

Hôtel malheureusement pas à la hauteur de ce que l’on attend dans un 5 étoiles . A plus de 450€ la nuit il me paraît logique d’attendre des services dédiés… Je ne commenterai pas davantage au risque de voir une énième réponse de la direction sans aucune empathie et remise en question.

It is always a privilege to enjoy a town as beautiful as Chamonix but the staff at Albert 1er really made our trip. The grounds, room, and amenities are lovely. The shower is the best! The traditional restaurant is delicious (show up hungry!). A special thank you to the front desk staff who assisted us during an unfortunate medical emergency. They called and made 2 doctors appointments, got us in with 0 wait, and took us in the shuttle (the gentleman even helped my mom to and from the car as she was having trouble walking). Hospitality is of course their business but the level of genuine care they showed us far surpassed any hospitality I've experienced. They literally saved our entire vacation by helping us access the proper care. This hotel is fantastic and the staff are truly superb!

Un Logis de France où il fait bon séjourner, à l'écart du tumulte de Chamonix, près du glacier des bossons. Ambiance familial, immense parking, belles chambres à l'esprit montagne, très grande salle de restaurant et aux beaux jours, piscine jardin et terrasse extérieure. Les plats sont copieux et savoureux, choix exceptionnel pour le petit petit-déjeuner Une belle adresse.

Deux grands merci le premier pour le chef car le menu découverte était à la hauteur de nos espérances à savoir juste extra mérite la 2 eme étoile. Le second pour un service impeccable et notamment pour Alice et Youri qui nous ont régalé de leurs connaissances et de leurs sourires toute la soirée. Apparemment les fraises arrivent prochainement, nous reviendrons… En attendant nous vous souhaitons à tous de belles vacances.

Tasting menu with wine pairing. Friendly staff. Wine pairing was ok although glasses were fairly underfilled as some were to last two meals with only a couple sips worth in the glass. Food was good and lots of it! Whole experience took about 3 hours of consistent eating. A lot of eating for sure!

Best restaurant ive been too. Service was very well paced. Very positive, friendly, and high eq staff. Food was excellent. Not just well cooked, good temperature, flavorful, but also very creative. This place is very well organized and knows flavors.

Esperienza unica e speciale nell’unico ristorante con 1 Stella ⭐️ Michelin nel cuore di Chamonix-Mont-Blanc (all’interno dell’Hotel Hameau Albert 1er). Servizio ottimo, cibo squisito. Menu composto da entrée, 3 portate + piatto di formaggi, pre dessert e dessert a 135€. Menu 7/8 portate a 186€. Menu e carta dei vini (bottiglie a partire da 45/50€) consultabili sul loro sito internet. Esperienza da fare almeno una volta nella vita. Consigliatissimo! Consigliato anche un aperitivo al loro QuartzBar, hanno una programmazione di serate con musica Jazz (programma consultabile sempre sul sito) e ottimi cocktail.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à l’hôtel et nous nous y sommes sentis comme chez nous dès le premier instant. Le personnel y est d’une amabilité et d’une gentillesse incroyable. La chambre cosy et très mignonne. La piscine très belle (et bien chauffée malgré la grande partie extérieure). Mention spéciale pour les barmans et leurs cocktails divins (même ceux sans alcools, merci). Bref notre court séjour fut un sans faute, nous reviendrons c’est sûr.

Spent an amazing gastronomic evening at the Albert 1er with a friend. Where to start? We took a the three course dégustation menu and single glasses of different wines. Each course and specially the in-between the courses dishes, where not only creative, but often served in two different variations. For instance, the langoustine tail once whole and lightly roasted, and then as a tartare. Everything perfectly prepared, and served in elegant plates, or boxes, or boards, or... Can't remember them all. Service was clearly at a higher level. Friendly, attentionate, anticipating our wishes, and yet not stiff at all. Sharing much knowledge, about cheese, about spirits (Chartreuse). The bill was naturally high, but to be expected in such a place and in Chamonix. Nothing out of bounds. Toujours très contente d y revenir....

Hôtel charmant, le bar de l'hôtel avec l'ambiance piano bar et le service est très agréable. Le restaurant La Maison Carrier propose une cuisine gourmande et un service irréprochable bien qu'un peu cher pour la carte. Le service de l'hôtel est mitigé pour un 5 étoiles. Dans le restaurant, l'éponge pour nettoyer les tables pendant le service est laissée sur le guéridon du restaurant, à moins d'un mètre d'une table, en plein service du petit déjeuner... Le petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur du prix (offre limitée et très simple et les oeufs brouillés sont immangeables). La chambre est très simple avec une douche sans pression. Pour se doucher, il faut pratiquement se coller au mur, ce qui est très désagréable. L'isolation sonore n'est pas satisfaisante. Le mur d'une chambre est commun à celui de l'escalier principal et le bruit

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans une chambre a env 380€/nuit Deco vieillotte, téléviseur obsolète, chambre très petite, pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain en arrivant en pleine hiver dans une station c’est quand même important ! pommeau de douche à changer ! Des fois il vaut mieux aller dans des 4* qui a se tarif vous respecterons plus 😒 Par contre rien a dire sur le personnel ils étaient tous très professionnel !

We were at the Hameau Albert 1er restaurant for lunch before our flight. It was my own stupidity for not planning it properly - we were prepared to just forego the dessert to make time. They really went above and beyond to fit everything in the very short time frame we gave them, we literally raced through. Chamonix food was a little disappointing in general but this was the best we've had in Chamonix (we went to other Michelin recommended places as well) and I'd say best value out of _all_ the meals we've had in Chamonix as well, 100% worth it. Thank you to all the staff who made it happen, we are so grateful and won't forget the experience anytime soon!

Après un séjour à l’hôtel avec le repas au restaurant gastronomique, l’entrée au spa et enfin un massage. Je pense être suffisamment légitime pour donner mon avis. L’hôtel est joli avec une belle décoration en bois et pierre. La chambre est chaleureuse et suffisamment spacieuse. En ce qui concerne le restaurant, la cuisine est très bonne avec une note de fraîcheur et modernité. En ce qui concerne le service cela est correct mais demande un peu plus de professionnalisme. Pour finir, les deux gros bémols sont, le petit déjeuner de l’hôtel absolument pas digne d’un 5 étoiles. ( jus d’orange industriel, café très médiocre, viennoiseries du même niveau qu’une chaîne, œuf brouillé et saucisse sans intérêt…) cela a été une vraie déception. Enfin, concernant le personnel, nous ne pouvons pas mettre tout le monde dans le même panier mais certaines personnes devraient faire preuve de plus de discr

Le restaurant Albert 1er possède une belle ambiance, un superbe décor feutré et tamisé. Des plats originaux et d’autres plus classiques, mais avec des saveurs subtiles et équilibrées. Cependant nous avons noté trop de tartelettes en accompagnement des plats, pour un restaurant étoilé on aurait pu imaginé des accompagnements plus originaux ou élaborés. Curieusement vers la fin de notre repas nous avons entendu des cris très forts venants de la cuisine pendant au moins 5 -10 minutes, ce qui a plombé l’ambiance générale dans le restaurant. Cela a gâché notre soirée et nous a laissé un goût amer de ce dîner.

We enjoyed two lovely nights. The hotel is a divine little enclave on the edge of town. The rooms have no AC and given the heat wave was a little warm during the day but cooled right down in the evening.

Sublime! Nous avons déjeuné à deux au restaurant Albert 1er après une matinée au Spa. Nous avons choisi les menus végétariens et ce fût une expérience culinaire merveilleuse. Les légumes sont sublimés, les sorbets à l'honneur. Des mises en bouche aux mignardises les plats sont intenses et créatifs et révèlent les saveurs discrètes d'un grand nombre de légumes. Les quantités étaient justes le service était professionnel et détendu à la fois.

Het nieuwe deel van het hotel is prachtig, het oude ook echt wel verouderd en eenvoudig (net als het ontbijt). Spa & zwembad zijn top, alsook het 1* restaurant.

Comment vous dire ? Dîner du 07/06 restera longtemps gravé. La cuisine du chef est sublime, les produits sont magnifiés, les notes gustatives surprenantes, agréables… Mais vous trouverez dans le service quelque chose de plus qu’ailleurs, ce charmant jeune homme qui s’appelle Dorian, et qui, en plus de vous satisfaire à la manière d’un étoilé, égaille votre repas, par son jeu de théâtre et son sens de la réception. L’équipe est formidable, avec beaucoup de compétences ! Je recommande vivement 🥰

Franchement une expérience au top. Les employés étaient très avenants et prêts à aider. Le coin piscine spa hammam est très reposant également, surtout quand il n'y a pas grand monde dans l'hôtel. La vue est incroyable sur les montagnes, on les voit depuis partout, les chambres ou la piscine ! Et pour vous garer un garage est mis à disposition, ce qui est aussi super pour ne pas laisser la voiture dehors. Je recommande vivement cet établissement, par contre la carte des menus pour les repas en ligne à la maison Carrier n'est pas à jour, donc ne vous y fiez pas, c'est mon seul point négatif !

One of the highlights of our entire Alps trip. We will absolutely come again. It’s tucked away, but convenient to the center of town. They have a great pool and good amenities. The people are kind and helpful. The indoor fireplaces look fake in photos, but I promise they are real and very worth the upgrade.

Très bel endroit pour se ressourcer! Deuxième visite, une valeur sûre. Le personnel est très accueillant, agréable et au petit soin dans tout l’hôtel, au restaurant gastronomique, à la maison Carrier mais aussi au SPA. C’est un vrai plus! Toutes les prestations sont au top, les chambres également. Et la localisation est parfaite pour profiter du village de Chamonix. Un seul point d’amélioration: les omelettes au petit déjeuner sont en extra. Au vue des prestations qu’offre ce type d’hôtel, cela devrait être inclu dans l’offre petit déjeuner. Nous reviendrons :)

Je ne pourrai pas rédiger un très bel avis sur cet établissement, car mon expérience est très décevante humainement ! Je précise que je n'ai aucune habitude à émettre des mauvais avis , bien au contraire ! Nous aurions dû, avec mon conjoint, séjourner dans cet hôtel samedi dernier. Malheureusement, je me retrouve aux urgences. Nous prévenons tout de suite, bien conscient du désagrément que nous causons, et malgré le justificatif des urgences envoyé, aucune considération n'a été prise en compte ! Ni même une proposition de report ! Moi-même étant commerçante sur Annecy, je suis vraiment déçue de la manière dont a été gérée ma réservation. J'aurai préféré être à Chamonix ...

Formidable! Incompréhensible qu'on leur ait enlevé une *!! En mérite largement 2. Originalité des saveurs, excellent rapport qualité/prix, service impeccable, courtois et sympathique tout à la fois.

Nous avons passé un séjour à la hauteur de nos attentes. La qualité du service est exceptionnelle. Chaque demande que nous avons formulé a été entendu (départ tardif/chauffeur/garde de notre toutou). Nous y reviendrons certainement.

Habitués des étoilé michelin, ce restaurant est digne de sa renommée. La cuisine est excellente et généreuse. Le service est classe, discret, clair et sans chichis, vraiment agréable malgré quelques longueurs (seul bémol de l'aventure). Le tout dans un superbe décor feutré et tamisé, je recommande sincèrement ! Merci au chef et à toute l'equipe.

Endroit exceptionnel, ambiance chalet pleine montagne avec prestations bien être juste parfaites. Le personnel est accueillant et tellement agréable. Navette pour nous amener à nos activités extérieures. La chambre était incroyable, tellement soignée. Pour notre première semaine d’escapade de jeunes mariés nous avions des petites pétales décoratives en forme de cœur sur le lit. Le spa est magnifique, nous rêvions de nous baigner dans la piscine chauffée extérieure avec vu sur les montagnes enseignées, on en prend plein la vue et on se détend au maximum. Tout les endroits de l’hôtel sont propres et bien entretenus. Le petit déjeuner est savoureux. Nous avons aussi testé le restaurant gastronomique et nous y avons passé un moment exceptionnel, les plats étaient incroyablement bons avec des explosions de saveurs, tout était finement travaillé, c’est de l’art culinaire! Même la salle du rest

Tout était parfait ! A commencer par l'accueil de Perrine et de ses équipes, tous professionnels et chaleureux ! Un déjeuner dans un décor chic et raffiné qui vient juste d'être refait, un repas excellent, avec des saveurs subtiles et des cuissons parfaitement maîtrisées, notamment le turbot et les ris de veau... hummmm un délice ! Et pour terminer le soufflé à la Chartreuse pour la petite note sucrée... On reviendra avec grand plaisir !... Bravo pour à toute l'équipe @..

Des groseilles et des framboises au petit déjeuner à tomber 🤗☀️👌🏽 Seul bémol : le hammam et le sauna sont mixtes et certains oublient de prendre une douche après le ski avant de s’y rendre 🙃

Un endroit chaleureux, un personnel aux petits soins vous servent une très bonne cuisine! Un service un peu imprécis lors de mon passage. Des plats originaux d'autres plus classiques, mais tous ont une cuissons parfaites tout comme les assaisonnements. A noter de très beaux et bons plats axés végétariens.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was a complete disappointment. Lackluster service, extra charges for breakfast that were not disclosed. At check-in, staff was very cold and didn’t explain anything about the hotel. They said enjoy breakfast but never disclosed it would be 50 eu a day for two persons. The breakfast was incredibly basic too. I misplaced my room key and felt like I was pulling teeth to get a replacement. The front desk staff were upset they had to make another one. The restaurant was hands down the worst 1 star Michelin. I’ve been to over 60 Michelin star restaurants. The food fell flat - nothing emotional or engaging. Some redemption with the cheese service and dessert at the end. The room itself was fine, albeit incredibly dated. I’m fine paying upwards of 750 eu a night for a 5 star experience, but this was not it.

Generally disappointed. A couple service issues. I waited 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me at the front desk. Service tried to close the pool 30 minutes before closing time (I was still in the pool). Can’t watch TV with the lights off due to some electricity issue. Rooms are dated. Shower head is low quality. Breakfast is minimal. It isn’t near any ski lifts and the hotel doesn’t help with transport. It was a lovely 3 star experience, but not luxurious or unique in any way.

Les attentes sont énormes. Et bien malgré cela, je n'ai pas été déçu du tout. Cet hôtel est absolument fantastique. Autant le service que la qualité de l'infrastructure.

Loved it here. Super great service - wonderful rooms blending the old w the new. I stayed here 2x recently - once at the beginning of the Tour Du Mont Blanc, then again at the end. The gentleman at the front desk realized my feet were in bad shape at the end of the trek (bad blisters), and made a special effort to bring me honey as a homeopathic remedy. So sweet!!!

Noua avons dîné le samedi 6.08. La perfection! Les mets sont délicieux et tres joliment présentés. Beaucoup d harmonie dans les gouts et d audace! Mention speciale aux desserts: l association champignon/chocolat est a tomber tout comme l ail noir et les abricots! A quand la 2e etoile? A noter le tarif tout a fait juste et la qualité du personnel.

Tout simplement notre restaurant préféré depuis 3 ans ! Immanquable si vous êtes a Chamonix. On prend le menu dégustation à chaque fois et c'est un bonheur de découvrir les plats. C'est un festival de couleurs et de saveurs. Les plats sont magnifiques, les goûts parfois surprenant mais tellement bons, on découvre de nouvelles saveurs (hier la reine des prés), c'est un enchantement. Et le personnel ... mais ils sont tous tellement gentils et attentionnés c'est tellement agréable qu'on ne voudrait plus partir. Le choix des vins pour accompagner le menu était sublime. Bref on ne s'en lasse pas, c'est vraiment une parenthèse enchantée on passe un moment presque hors du temps. On ne comprend pas pourquoi ils n'ont pas plus d'étoile... en tout cas pour nous ils sont au TOP ! Vraiment n'hésitez pas, si vous aimez découvrir des plats raffin

Notre lieu culte

Une bien trop courte nuitée à l'ancienne Pension du Chemin de fer de Joseph Carrier. Sous l'impulsion de Pierre Carrier, ce ne sont pas moins de quinze chalets des cimes et des vallées qu'il a fallu hélitreuiller pour donner naissance au Hameau dans le jardin de l'hôtel historique. C'est ainsi que j'ai pu profiter de l'authenticité de la ferme avec pour toile de fond le glacier des Bossons, l'aiguille du Midi et le Mont Blanc. En outre, le mélodieux vrombissement des bogies des locomotives n'a d'autre finalité que de vous transporter un siècle en arrière. Quant à l'Assiette du Chef Damien Leveau, celle-ci m'inspire le même sentiment que la vision de ce mont nimbé de neige et de glace qu'est le toit de l'Europe : pureté et majestueusité. Le luxe de pouvoir savourer toutes les textures d'un produit cuisiné au nat

Bonne prestation dommage l'hôtel aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement

Très bon accueil à l'hôtel, employés très serviables. Dîner à la Maison Carrier copieux. Les quenelles de brochet sont succulentes mais la sauce aux écrevisses devient écœurante. Moi qui aime manger, cela faisait trop surtout après une entrée. Les serveurs sont chaleureux. Belle expérience dans chaque établissement. Petit bémol, la table en verre à l'entrée du spa est restée non nettoyée de 17h à 23h jusqu'à la fin du dîner.

Toujours au top ! Le sommelier toujours sympa et de bon conseil. Nous aimons.

Le massage était très agréable le personnel également service en chambre super et pour finir une très jolie chambre avec belle vue

Magnifique moment

Nous avons loué le chalet Soli qui était très confortable, chaleureux, très bien équipé et décoré. J’ai beaucoup apprécié la cheminée, le grand sauna, le plan vasque de 2 m linéaire.Palme d’or pour le meilleur éclairage de salle de bain, sans parler des miroirs. Tous les hotels même les palaces se contentent de mettre un spot au dessus du plan vasque . Les repas servis en chambre étaient succulents. Le personnel était aussi adorable que compétent. Comme nous n avons aucune critique à formuler en 5 jours, je me permets de faire une suggestion. J’ai vu dans un célèbre hôtel irlandais une poubelle de chambre avec compartiment pour le tri sélectif. Merci à tous

Nous avons passé un super séjour. Le personnel est très chaleureux, bienveillant et performant. Le SPA est très agréable, en particulier la piscine face au Mont Blanc ! Les chambres sont bien équipées et la literie un vrai nuage.. difficile de se lever le matin tellement on y est bien ! Merci pour ce séjour !

Plat à emporter : Viande bonne, truffe sans goûts, salsifis dur et sans goûts, la sauce (plus de l’eau que de la sauce) sans goûts non plus, tout ça pour 70 balles pour 2. Déçu du repas !

I stayed here on one of my tours of Europe. It is a 5 star hotel. The indoor/outdoor pool is fabulous, with a view of Mt Blanc. The food is also amazing! It is rated with 2 Michelin stars. This is a family run facility, since the early 1900’s. Highly recommend. I hope to come back soon❣️

Un accueil tout en sourire et en musique avec une pianiste jouant dans le magnifique bar de l’hôtel. La carte du restaurant est en carton ce qui permet de l’emporter en souvenir. Nous avons pris le menu La maison de Savoie à 176€. Chacun des plats étaient vraiment délicieux. Tout le personnel était souriant et aux petits soins, très appréciable, merci à eux !
