super expérience à nouveau. Immanquable à Morzine !!!

Been wanting to go here for ages, and it didn't disappoint! The food was utterly incredible. Particular shout out to the miso patatas bravas, but everything we had was great. Cocktails too! This is a must visit if you're in Morzine.

A great find in Morzine - excellent food & reasonable prices

Food was amazing. Only criticism would be that 3 of our party ordered the small plate & I ordered a main meal of teriyaki chicken bowl. The small plates came out promptly which was explained to us but all the other small plates for other tables came out before my meal was cooked meaning my friends had finished their food long before I got my meal.

Should’ve given 0 stars. There were clearly free tables and they told us they were fully booked. We even offered to sit at the bar but were told to leave. Although we were so nice to them and it was my birthday.

Loved it, food andn drink and atmosphere

Unclean plate on arrival, fish cakes were just soggy mush (we did get a refund however). Very average ramen and curry bowls. Karaage was okay, the batter wasn’t authentic and just slid off when picking it up. Drinks were the best part of the experience.

Probably some of the best Asian food I've eaten, and I've eaten a lot over the years. Definitely the best food I've had in Morzine, and I've eaten in most places over the years. Fresh, full of flavour, vibrant colours, light, umami deliciousness. The broccoli was so freaking good! Drinks and deserts we're great, and the staff were epic too. Thank you for a lovely evening. We'll be back next year.

Good ok, but had a slight aftertaste (artificial flavourings maybe). Service good. Place is quite buzzy but loud.

The food here is amazing! We have visited many different restaurants over our years and this was one of my best meals that I have ever had! The kids also enjoyed their meals and so it is great for all ages

I love the place, but the food is slipping in quality, which is a real shame. They need to get some sound absorbant materials in there, as its very noisy due to all the hard surfaces. A quick acoustic survey should sort it out cheaply!

I’ve eaten at hideout many times over the last few years and I have consistently been impressed with the amazing food, great customer service and brilliant value. The food is fresh and delicious and I’ll certainly be coming back on my next trip to Morzine in January. The bar is also fantastic, brilliant cocktails and really friendly staff, particularly Alicia - who makes a brilliant spicy marg!! A must visit if you’re in Morzine !

Vraiment déçue, Le poulet a un arrière goût de poisson que ce soit le teryaki ou le satay apart le riz rien était bon. Au vu du prix clairement j'aurais préféré cuire mon riz moi meme.

Beautiful spot *hidden* away from the main town area overlooking the river. I sat outside and had a quick snack to eat, very tasty gyoza. Only critique I have is that the menu has reduced since I last saw it, good vegan options are still there but the option to 'veganise' most menu items no longer exists. Get some seitan back in! Lovely friendly service, would recommend.

Super friendly service and delicious food.

As an Asian, we were disappointed by the food. We patronised the place due to the reviews, but it is overrated. I ordered laksa, but what was served is definitely not laksa, is thai green curry instead. The portion was not generous as well, very little cabbage and the bak choy served was not even cooked. Overpriced. In addition, the wooden chair at our table broke away when my partner almost sit on it. A major safety hazard. Staffs we're friendly though.

Fantastic food, some of the best South East Asian food I've had - do not miss out on the broccoli. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was great.

We came here for tea after quite a large, late lunch so ordered a number of small plates to share with the thought of taking most of it home for the next day. Not a crumb left on any plate and none of it was taken home! All absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you've overdone the fondue and raclette.

This place is a must visit! Really friendly and welcoming, incredible food and really reasonable prices. Kids eat free after 6pm with a paying adult - great value!

Great fried chicken.

If you're looking for some yummy non-french food after a days skiing, this is the place to come, the asian food was the nuts!! I highly recommend booking a table to save disappointment, the restaurant was packed all week!

Booked the night before for myself and my partner after a recommendation for Thai food. Little did I know I had booked the day that my partner was going to propose to me on the slopes. We were eager so went early for a drink at the bar and then sat down when the table was ready. They gave us a glass of procesco to celebrate and we then ordered LOTS of food. The food is absolutely outstanding. We couldn’t decide so ended up with trying a lot of the starters/sides - we got the broccoli, chicken satay, veg gyoza and a bang bang type cauliflower. Then for Mains we had tofu pad see ew (specials menu) and the chicken teriyaki bowl. Food comes out as and when which we didn’t mind as we were sharing a lot of it. Hit and miss here. We went twice in one week: the first, on a Sunday, was excellent. Food was really well done and big portions to justify the expensive meals. We were sitting on the side away from the door as well, which was good. Second time was on a Saturday. Different cook and it was so much worse. The nasi goreng was gluggy, egg overcooked, smaller portion and WAY too much sugar. It was inedible. The waitress was good to remove it and offered me to order something else, but that was the last dish to come out (15 minutes after the previous last dish) and so everyone had already finished eating. The edamame also went from classy and delicious to being drowned in sauce and way too salty. Sitting next to the front door when the bar is packed with people standing, sitting and falling around also ruined the ambience. Funnily, we visited here 18 months ago and went twice and the same thing

Three days in Morzine and this restaurant was definitely the best

A visit to Morzine is not complete without eating here! Food is phenomenal, service outstanding and a great cocktail bar underneath as well. 👌 book in advance, you won’t be disappointed. Oh and don’t forget to order the broccoli… 🤤

Best meal we had all week.

Absolutely amazing food. Been twice now and can't race enough. So nice having plenty of vegetarian options. Highly recommend going with friends and trying everything you can. Great service too, delicious!!!

Did not really expect my mind to be blown by the meals in this restaurant-bar but it was and I don't think it's just because I was starving. I had the Udon noodles bowl with the spicy butter sauce. Highly recommend. Will come back.

As a guest in the hideout, I visited this restaurant three times during my stay. The food was incredible, with each dish having unique flavours and interesting twists. I found that ordering a range of sides and splitting among the table was the best way to enjoy all the restaurant had to offer

Super leckeres Essen. Sehr schnell. Frisch und geschmacksreich. Sehr gut besucht und kleine Terrasse zum Fluss hinaus. Service sehr freundlich. Gut auch für Kinder. Zu empfehlen

This place is an absolute gem. The family had had enough cheese and meat for a week and as a vegetarian I was feeling a bit hard done by. We managed to get an early table and were welcomed by the very friendly and cheerful staff. The menu is so interesting it was hard to choose. We went for broccoli, fried chicken, miso pork belly and charred edamame to start - all utterly delectable and moreish. The broccoli in sesame sauce was a thing of beauty, lapped up by even the most reluctant vegetable eater. The fried chicken was apparently the nicest ever. For mains the noodles with miso and peanut noodle salad with tofu were eye watering good. Our outright favourite meal of the holiday.

Outstanding Asian food. The sauce on the edamame took me straight back to my mum’s family home in Malaysia. Nasi Goreng was fantastic. Broccoli blew my mind. Best and most delicious meal I have eaten this year. Staff are lovely and welcoming and engaging. Beers from a local micro brewery also delicious. A must visit.

We were looking for an alternative to the burgers, pasta and pizzas in Morzine and we were totally rewarded by our short walk over the river to the Hideout, absolutely amazing Asian inspired menu. Our children loved the Korean style crispy chicken and delicious spring rolls. Vegetarian and vegan choices a plenty as well, all round an excellent experience and well worth the visit. Thanks to the team at Hideout for such a lovely evening.

Best food in morzine and really good service. We came here twice during our weeks stay and will be back if we return.

Amazing food, if you want a break from the yummy (but heavy) Savoyard cuisine, this place has delicious Asian food.

AMAZING food, creative menu, Asian street food menu absolutely wonderful when you need a break from cheese-fondue-racletre-tartiflette! Real veg, home made pickes, incredible Asian tapas. We had a great meal here and ate way too much. Couldn’t stop eating 🤣

Best food in town, fresh and delicious. Not trad french, but incredibly good. Great beer and cocktails also compliment the experience!

Lekker gegeten met het gezin. We namen 3 voorgerechten om te delen en nadien elk een bowl, wat meer dan genoeg was. Bediening was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, gezellig zitten buiten op het terras (wel veel lawaai van het riviertje).

We went to this place as finding vegan food in France can be quite difficult and the reviews look good. The service was great, the setting next to the river was lovely. The food was disappointing, very one note and lacked depth and complexity of flavours. We ordered 6 dishes between two of us. 4 of the dishes seemed to be doused in a spicy, ‘sticky’ sauce that was so overpowering it didn’t matter what it was being put on (broccoli, Edamame, mushrooms & noodles). The spring rolls were very bland served alongside what tasted like pure tamarind - very intense flavour. It was almost like a base used for the flavourings of all of the dishes. The food was not authentic Asian at all. We also had stomach aches that evening and well into the next day. We would not eat here again, not necessarily down to feeling unwell after, but because the food was so underwhelming and actually border

Superb! The vegan tuna tataki is an inspiration. Could quite possibly be my favourite starter of all time. The main courses were packed with flavour and very plentiful. Delicious 😋. We just about managed to fit a dessert in and again, amazing. The cheesecake was sublime. A sensation! The chocolate mousse, one of the best. Fantastic service from the friendly staff as well. A faultless experience. Thank you to everyone who made our anniversary so memorable.

We loved this place, excellent Asian food and service was really good. Was so nice to have something different to the usual cuisine round here. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. They can make most dishes vegan, which is also quite rare here. The mains are around EUR 22. They do really nice craft beers as well. I had a Rocket Fuel from Ibex brewery, which is very hazy. I emailed to make a reservation and they responded instantly. Couldn't ask for more!

Nous pensions, à la réservation, tomber sur un restaurant typé asiatique. Les photos montrant un peu de standing. Nous y allions en famille. La réalité est différente c'est plus un pub anglais avec des tables de restaurant trop bruyantes. On n'était plus en France mais bien dans un fief anglais ( barman ne parlait as français), avec de nombreuses personne saoule ( pas de débordements). Nourriture trop épicée pour nous. Y aller en connaissance de causes ; ambiance pub, bruyantes, conso alcool ++ et restaurant anglais !

Good fun atmosphere. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were a party of six people and I think we tried almost everything on the menu. Everything was so delicious we will definitely be back again. Thank you guys . Great job!

I have to say the food is superb. We were a group of 14 and everyone really enjoyed the starters which we all tried and I think we covered the full menu. The service was wonderful even with the challenge of 14 guests having dinner at once. Can’t recommend more!

I saw this on a Google search so have to tell you. It is a packet and heat up restaurant. The chicken skewers were very very dry. I had the red curry and they bought the best packet sauce. It was good. But they add dry duck, small tomatoes and green grapes. Not right! It is food for the hungry and not about the chef. Chinese supermarket stuff and no more. You can cook it yourself, but better in your own kitchen.

I remembered the Hideout from a previous trip to Morzine. Took a group of 8 and everyone raved about how good the food was. It's a really cool place in terms of decor and atmosphere and the staff were super attentive and friendly. Highly recommend (but you will have to book a table at least 24hrs in advance if you want to get a table).

This is a great place to eat! Nice smaller portions to share and tasted great. They also have bigger ‘bowls’ if you don’t want to share ;) Refreshing to have something Asian orientated between all the heavy French meals. Staff was very friendly as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Stunning food at this hidden away gem in morzine. I was blown away by the amazing welcome, friendly and knowledgeable staff and the food. Really good tasty food, the sesame broccoli was special, the currys and stir fry all fantastic and the mushroom calamari was surprisingly good. Good selection of locally brewed beer as well. If in morzine again this will be high on my list.

Really disappointed with the food here. Been a few times in the past and it’s been amazing, but tonight was a really underwhelming menu with really not great food. Spring rolls, and calamari were good. However, the chicken satay was very dry, the pork with lettuce was very oily, and the cashew stir fry was too salty to be eaten. At least the service was great.

Découverte incroyable inattendue! Mention spéciale pour les brocolis dans une sauce sésame vraiment exceptionnelle, que je n'ai jamais mangé ailleurs, et les Bao à la poitrine de porc braisée délicieux! Un restaurant que nous ne sommes pas prêts d'oublier! Ne passez pas à côté des brocolis!

Wow! Vegan heaven. Huge range of pan-Asian dishes, most of which are vegan or can be veganised. We had the satay seitan skewers, veggie gyoza, sesame brocoli & nasi goreng (veganised). Overall, we absolutely loved it, and the great range of flavours. The seitan was quite salty and the brocoli a little oily, but still an incredible dinner in a beautiful venue, with great staff.

What an amazing place! You must try the broccoli it was mind blowing! Food was really delicious and Japanese beer is something to try, I don’t normally drink beer but it was really good, light and floral/fruity touch in it. Wonderful time overall, customer service was 10/10. If you are in Morzine you MUST try this place!!!

One of the very best food options in the area and reasonably priced for the area. Nasi Goreng, Bao buns, chips and satay skewers all delicious. The food is served as it comes which is fine by me but can end up a touch disjointed with your table. Staff can be a bit rushed off their feet but were polite and happy to help. Highly recommend eating here during your stay, make sure you book in advance as I doubt many walk ins are taken!

What a great find! The food is so fresh and the staff is amazing! We ate here two nights in a row and had the Generals Tao Chicken, Dan Dan Noodle bowl, Chicken Satay Skewers, Slow Cooked Korean Beef, and Spicy Chicken Gyoza 🥟 All were delicious and authentic! I suggest making a reservation online or call, otherwise you’ll miss out.

Was really looking forward to eating here due to lots of great reviews but was totally dissatisfied with the service. My food didn’t arrive even after checking that it had been ordered and been assured it was in its way. Left hungry and annoyed. Nice beer though

So many vegan/vegi options, pretty much every dish could be made with either seitan or tofu. In love with the bao buns and broccoli, and portion sizes are huge. Love it, and good value.

Superbe accueil et ambiance. Carte asiatique qui change de tous les autres restaurant qu'on peut trouver à Morzine. J'ai demandé mon menu dans coriandre et pas trop épicé, ils se sont adapté sand problème. Les plats sont vraiment bon et les prix très raisonnable. J'y retourne avec grand plaisir.
