Avis sur Eden Hôtel Appartments and Chalet hôtel-restaurant à Chamonix

Très mauvaises surprises dès notre arrivée. Nous avons loué un studio pour trois personnes et une fois arrivée devant la boîte à clés, pas de clés. Il était 23h et nous avons dû appeler une dizaine de fois la gérante avant d’avoir une réponse. La personne arrive finalement avec une clé et nous dit que l’autre clé a du être volé « cela arrive souvent à Chamonix ». Nous sommes donc trois filles dans un appartement donc un inconnu à la clés. Nous avons donc demandé à la gérante de trouver une solution pour la sécurité de nos affaires et de nous même. Elle n’a plus répondu avant 9h le lendemain. Nous avons dû bloquer la porte avec une chaise durant la nuit. La direction nous a finalement dit que les clients précédents avaient oublié de remettre la clés après beaucoup de messages de notre part afin de savoir. Nous avons donc demandé un geste commercial pour cette première nuit de stress et

/∆\ ATTENTION VOLEURS /∆\ Ma réservation a été doublée et facturée, encaissée 2 fois. La gérante, qui n'a pas daigné sortir de son bureau, m'a renvoyé via son employée vers le site de réservation. Or, ce site n'est qu'un intermédiaire, il n'a pas empêché d'argent. L'absence de réaction est inacceptable, un tel manque de rigueur Inspire peu de confiance. L'Eden hôtel a du me contacter pour un problème de carte, mais lorsqu'il a constaté qu'il y avait 2 réservations au même nom sur les mêmes dates pour le même nombre de personne, là : silence Radio. De plus, sur d'autres sites de réservation, plusieurs avis souligne la facilité avec laquelle l'hôtel débite des sommes indûment. Cela fait 6 ans que je réserve sur Chamonix, c'est la première fois que je tombe sur des hôteliers sans foi ni loi.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel et nous avons vraiment adoré notre expérience. L’emplacement est parfait, à seulement 5 minutes en voiture du centre, avec une vue magnifique face au Mont Blanc. Les chambres étaient très propres, confortables et bien décorées. Le design de l’hôtel est chaleureux et élégant, on s’y sent tout de suite bien. Le restaurant est très agréable et le petit-déjeuner était délicieux et copieux. C’est un hôtel idéal pour les familles et les groupes. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter lors de notre prochaine visite à Chamonix 🥰🥰

Hôtel parfait

Globalement un très bon hôtel. Très sympa, atypique, avec un bon accueil. Très belle chambre, très agréable avec en plus en bonus, un surclassement fait sur notre réservation. Le petit déjeuner peut sembler un peu cher mais au final il est parfait et très raffiné avant une bonne journée ! Je recommande de mon côté ! 😁

Excellent choix !!! Nous avons pu arriver a 21h30 avec possibilité d'arriver plus tard en avertissant l'accueil, le service est formidable et le personnel très accueillant, nous avons été gracieusement surclassé et nous en remercions encore l'hôtel !! Nous avons pris le petit déjeuner le matin que je trouve petit mais satisfaisant, juste ce qu'il faut quoi que un tout petit peu cher, Très belle découverte

Nice hotel but they are cheap. My “queen bed” was two twin beds pushed up together. They charged me $10 for an orange juice…. They were nice and helpful but I won’t be back. They don’t clean rooms and replace towels either.

Belle chambre spacieuse avec beaucoup de place pour le rangement. Grand lit confortable, vue magnifique des Alpes, théière disponible et coffre fort dans la chambre. Ludothèque au rdc et Parking gratuit et épicerie aux alentours.

Séjour parfait, comme d'habitude. L'hôtel est très bien situé, le praz est à quelques minutes à peine du centre de Chamonix, mais le gros plus est de pouvoir se garer gratuitement ! La décoration des chambres est moderne et classe à la fois, la literie est très confortable. Le petit déjeuner vaut amplement son prix avec en prime une vue magnifique sur les drus. Ce n'est pas la première fois (ni la dernière) que nous séjournons ici, nous venons y trouver du repos et récupérer entre deux aventures en montagne (ou juste entre deux périodes intenses au travail). Le personnel de l'hôtel est accueillant et très agréable.

Hotel hermoso y la atención mejor, especialmente la de Elena. Habitación hermosa, me hicieron un upgrade por estar tres días con mi hijo pequeño cosa que agradecí infinitamente, las instalaciones son perfectas, parecen de un cuento. Ubicación, retirado del centro de Chamonix, es silencioso y vistas al Mont Blanc pero fácil llegar por tren que está a 10-15 minutos del centro y la estación a 3 minutos del hotel, por autobús nunca pudimos llegar por que es confusa la red de buses de Chamonix pero pero por tren es muy fácil. Lo único malo, si así se le puede decir, es que no hay nada cerca por si en la noche hay un antojo, cosa que se soluciona fácilmente llevándolos antes de regresar al hotel por la tarde. El desayuno es estándar a los desayunos de hoteles en Europa. Es perfecto el lugar, espero regresar a Chamonix en invierno y será a este hotel.

A little heaven in the bustling Chamonix! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We had a room with a view of Mont Blanc and we were very lucky with the weather, so we saw all the mountains of Chamonix ☺️😍 I would like to mention the staff: we met several people at the reception and they were all helpful, ready to share their favorite hiking trails and restaurants. We also spent one of the evenings in the bar and it was nice to be away from the noisy city, who knew that in August Chamonix is ​​so crowded 😀The wine selection is great, and the cheese and meat plate at the bar is just amazing. Hotel a meno di 10 minuti di pullman dal centro. Abbiamo fatto tappa per una notte nel nostro viaggio in moto. La camera risultava un pochino piccola ma il design della struttura è molto caratteristico e la nostra camera offriva una bellissima veduta sul monte ghiacciato. La struttura non offre il parcheggio ma abbiamo trovato facilmente posti libretto nelle immediate vicinanze. Hotel consigliato

Beautiful and charming interiors. Stayed there only two nights, however fully enjoyed. There is a small billiard table in the garden. Breakfast tastes great. Staff was kind and friendly. There is a great restaurant literally 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Coming back.

Très belle découverte ! L’hôtel est plein de charme, décoré avec goût, tout est pensé pour que les clients se sentent à l’aise. L’ambiance est calme et chaleureuse, avec une belle vue sur les montagnes. Le personnel est vraiment attentionné, toujours prêt à aider avec le sourire — ça fait la différence. Das Hôtel Eden in Chamonix, gelegen im charmanten Ortsteil Les Praz, hat meine Tochter und mich vom ersten Moment an begeistert. Das Gebäude selbst ist ein kleines architektonisches Juwel mit viel Geschichte und Charakter, man spürt den Charme der alten Zeit, kombiniert mit geschmackvoller, moderner Ausstattung. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Empfangsdame: extrem kompetent, sympathisch und mit Humor, selten wird man so herzlich und zugleich professionell empfangen. Unser Apartment war schlichtweg ein Bijou: stilvoll eingerichtet, bestens ausgestattet und mit traumhaftem Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. hotel Eden is close to the train station. Whenever a train passes by, the hotel room will vibrate and be very noisy. There is not much water in the bathroom and the bathtub is very slippery, so be careful of falling. In addition, there was no hot water when I took a shower around 9:30 that night, which was really bad. The next day we were going to TMB to continue the next journey, and we would come back the next day to pick up our luggage. We were charged 10 euros to store our luggage.

Hôtel bien placé (proche gare, arrêts de bus et télécabine pour se rendre au lac blanc) très propre, personnel sympathique et une vue magnifique depuis la chambre ! Dommage que nous ne restions qu’une nuit !

C'est superbe!!! ||I stayed here last week with a friend for 3 nights and it was a really lovely hotel!!!||The staff were very friendly and helpful! There was a nice games room and lounge on the left and also on nice lounge area on the right with a bar and a beautiful fire place giving it a cosy, warm and peaceful environment! ||Le petit déjeuner c'est très bien! A lovely breakfast area with a great selection of things! Our room got upgraded to a very spacious family room, modern and with fantastic view too.!||The location was ideal as it was so close to the Flegere lift and ticket office to get my lift pass easily and very close to a good ski shop (Ravanel Les Praz). Nous avons été surclassé à notre arrivé. L'accueil est sympathique . Nous avons eu un petit soucis avec la douche mais qui a été réglé en 5 min par la patronne . Hotel propre . Très bon rapport qualité prix. Je reviendrai dans cet hôtel.

The front desk was incredibly helpful and efficient. The rooms are great -- clean, cozy and comfortable. The train to the heart of Chamonix is a 30 second walk. Highly recommend.

Overall, great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. They speak English well and are quick to offer services. Late check in was easy since they just leave a key for you. Hotel has the alpine feel which fitting for the region. Great views of Le Flégère ski area. Very happy with the hotel.

Hello, We never made it to Chamonix to stay at this delighful hotel! We booked for a 4 night stay in January 2025 through BOOKING.COM, we went with the ‘free cancellation, pay at property’ option, which we all know is slightly more expensive, however the option of free cancellation is a safety net! As it transpired, our requirements changed! and cancelled our booking! ONLY TO FIND THAT THE HOTEL HAD ALREADY TAKEN PAYMENT! This wasn’t the deal we signed up to! After waiting 20 days, the refund finally appeared! HOWEVER, £35 less from what we paid! I’m guessing this is due to currency fluctuations! but the money should NEVER have left our account! ||I have sent emails to hotel and Booking.com and at this point in time NO REPLIES! I will keep you posted!

I had a wonderful experience at Eden Hotel in Les Praz Chamonix! The rooms are very comfortable and offer a stunning view of Mont Blanc, which made the stay even more special. I really appreciated the impeccable cleanliness of the room and the rich and varied breakfast, which was a perfect way to start each day. Although the room didn't have a fridge, the staff was very kind and allowed me to store a bottle of wine in the reception fridge, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and relaxing stay in Chamonix!

Hotel magnifique, aussi bien en intérieur que l'extérieur avec toutes ses belles terrasses. Très propre, déco très soignée touches modernes dans l'ancien. Personnel très sympathique, c'est très calme. Je recommande vivement !

En couple nous avons passés une superbe nuit dans cette chambre, la vue au matin sur le mont blanc sublime avec balcon tres sympa. Un hôtel typique du coin, avec une déco soignée , hôtesse très accueillante petit déjeuner de qualité ,fait maison.. merci pour tout.

Das Appartement war sehr ideal eingerichtet mit gut ausgestatteter Küche. Wir hatten einen Sitzplatz mit Hängesessel - sehr gemütlich. Ansonsten alles sehr sauber und Personal sehr freundlich. Das Bad mit Duschwanne etwas eng und klein.

Excelente hotel super recomendado, atención de primera y una vista espectacular

Nous y étions tellement bien que nous avons réservé une 2°nuit. A 1mn de la gare des praz ( mont blc express et st Gervais), qqs restos autour, un buffet petit déjeuner très varié et de qualité, et surtout une équipe aux petits soins.

Très bon hôtel très belles chambres bon accueil et un très bon petit déjeuner continental à 18 euros par personne sur réservation..

Hôtel très agréable, authentique, avec un charme certain , aspect typique de Chamonix, personnel sérieux et serviable, à l'écoute des besoins des clients, je le recommande ! ! ! Seule l'isolation phonique entre les chambres pourrait être améliorée, tout le reste est très bien.

Nice stay. It's cozy, it's very close to the bus stop and from a cableway to ski. The staff is quite serious, but helpful. The room is warm, small but it works for a few nights. They give you a code to get into the hotel so you can arrive at anytime.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are quite small for the price charged, but they are clean. The bathroom window should have privacy film (Room 31) as am sure people outside can see straight in.

Kleineres Hotel mit sanierten und modern eingerichteten Zimmern. Das Personal spricht sehr gut Englisch und ist freundlich. Gutes Frühstück und toller Blick aus dem Fenster. Fast direkt an den Bahngleisen gelegen, allerdings ist der Zugverkehr tagsüber überschaubar und nachts fährt kein Zug.

Hôtel très beau, bien décoré. Chambre spacieuse, literie confortable, personnel sympathique. Hôtel bien situé, vu sur le Mont. Par contre, parking payant. Aux alentours on peut se garer gratuitement mais difficilement.

L'albergo è sprovvisto di parcheggio, non c'è un ascensore e ci sono delle scale scomode e pericolose. Non c'è aria condizionata e la camera nel pomeriggio era caldissima, siamo rimasti per 2 giorni e la camera non è stata riordinata. Il bagno è abbastanza nuovo e comodo, la camera normale ma accettabile.|Non lo consiglio perché tra l'altro il rapporto qualità prezzo è pessimo

Nette kleine Zimmer, Bad mit Dusch-Badewanne ,sauber und geräumig. Tiefgaragen Platz fürs Auto aber sehr Enge Parklücken. Die Bettdecke ist als Bettauflage integriert. Frühstücksbüffet war genügend. Preis ist ok für Chamonix Die Eisenbahn ist neben an und ein Blechdach das bei regen hörbar ist. Bei geschlossenen Fenster ist es ok.

Very reasonable price for a very clean room of good size!

Located in quieter La Praz but with easy access to the Flegere bubble lift (3 min walk in kit) this quaint little hotel has had a loving and clearly expensive make over making it incredible value for money. Rooms were an adequate size and public areas sizeable and stunning. Breakfast is an option once at the hotel at 15e pp, we had it one day it was fine but just seemed a lot for what we had. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.|So why not 5* you ask…. Our room faced into the railway tracks and there’s and alarm that goes off at the crossing point, it’s very loud and sounds like a fire alarm, every half an hour, from about 5.30 in the morning! The first morning I thought we were having a fire drill!!!|I know this can’t be helped but sleep is a key factor for a hotel and every morning it got a bit much. I’d return but ask for a room facing the other direction!!!

A great place to stay in La Pras. Cheryl as concierge was amazing. The views from the room amazing. Definely would recommend. ||Chamonix itself is a beautiful town. The hotel was reasonable rates, clean rooms, and had a great ski locker room.

Location was great in so far as it was a 2 minute walk to the bus stops for Chamonix and Argentiere. 4 minutes to the ski lift of Les Praz/Flegere. Apartment consisted of 3 bedrooms; 2 en-suite; separate shower room and WC; large living room with open plan kitchen; balcony; dishwasher and washing machine. Facilities were excellent and there is a ski lockable room downstairs. Bath towel, hand towel and floor towels/mats provided. Bedding provided. Washing-up liquid, sponge, dishwasher tablet provided. Vacuum, mop. Bring washing pods for the washing machine or ask reception for some liquid. Wonderful staff - Irena in particular. Thank you very much! If you book your ski hire with Ravanel (Les Praz) you benefit from a 10% saving too but you must inform them and it's super easy to do a group booking with everyone's requirements. Highly recommend both.

Reasonable price, friendsome staff, super close to the ski resort <3 We(four people) only paid €600 for 3 nights during the season! It's literally amazing. I also highly recommend the breakfast service that only costs €18, it was enough to ski all day :) The only downside is that it's a little far from the center of Chamonix. If I come to Chamonix again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thanks a lot❤️

Arrivé à l’hôtel, personnel pas très accueillant et ne parlant même pas français ! (Je ne savais pas que chamonix était une ville anglaise…). Chambre propre mais sur 5 lits présence seulement de deux serviette de bain. Vu le prix (presque 500 euros pour la chambre/nuit) ça ne vaut vraiment pas le prix. The hotel looked super cute and pretty from the outside, we walked in to be hit by a sweet smell of a baking goodies. Downstairs there is a fireplace, comfortable sitting room with board games ect and super friendly staff. The hotel felt like a LUXURY HOME ❤️ Would definately reccommend, I may return myself. 10/10

Close to Flegere lift and also ski bus stop. A nice walk back from Chamonix along the river. Friendly and helpful staff, good food. Clean and nicely decorated. Only slight down side was not enough choice for vegetarians if you choose to eat in the hotel. However, I suspect if asked, they would arrange something. Would recommend.

This is a very nice little hotel. We stayed here before and after doing the Tour du Mont Blanc hike. We usually stay in 4 star hotels. We were surprised at how nice this hotel was. It is not perfect, it is in Les Praz about a 10 min bus ride to Chamonix central but the bus is regular and easy to catch and free if you get a card from the hotel reception, and the rooms are up to date and clean. It has a nice lounge, breakfast/dining area, and an outside bar which is pleasant and gets the late afternoon sun. The staff were friendly and effective. Basically if you are looking to avoid the high central Chamonix hotel costs Hotel Eden is definitely with considering. be aware there is no lift/elevator so you need to be able to carry your bag up the stairs.

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue montagne, nous avons reçu un appartement avec vue sur une terrasse. Great hotel with perfect service

Nous avons adoré ce court séjour avec nos grands enfants venus en couple à l’occasion de mon anniversaire. L’hotel est tres bien situé dans le petit village des Praz avec une vue époustouflante sur le Mont-blanc, l’Aiguille du Midi, les Druz. Les chambres sont petites mais très propres et joliment aménagées. Les Salons sont décorés en style chalet de manière très chaleureuse, idem pour la salle du petit déjeuner qui a elle aussi une très belle vue . Tout le personnel est très sympathique, serviable et souriant. ||L’hôtel est à une minute à pied de la petite Gare des Praz ( 4mns de Chamonix) et à ~30 mns à pied du Centre de Chamonix par un tres joli sentier pédestre le long de l’Arve. Dépaysement assuré!||Nous pensons déjà à revenir nous ressourcer dans ce petit hôtel si reposant et agréable.

Abzocke der schlimmsten Art. Bin noch nie so übervorteilt worden wie dort. Hinzu zu den überteuerten Preisen und plötzlichen Extrakosten kam, dass man abends nicht mehr auf sein Zimmer kam. Es fehlten plötzlichen die Türklinken auf der Flurtüre. Ein absolutes Desaster.

La nature

Nous y avons séjourné pour un week end à Chamonix avec des amis. Le décoration est tendance et cosy, l’accueil est chaleureux, les chambres propres et fonctionnelles. C’est une adresse à retenir avec un rapport qualité/prix très correct. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Nous y avons sejourné pour une nuit mais avons apprécié le calme et la décoration intérieure. Notre arrivée très tardive s'est faite très simplement. L'acceuil de l'hôtel est irréprochable. Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages quelques jours le temps de notre trek. Idéalement placé, à proximité de lignes de bus desservant notamment Chamonix. Nous recommandons.

Absolute Abzocke. Per Booking ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten gebucht, bei Ankunft erzählte man uns plötzlich wir hätten kein Hotelzimmer gebucht, sondern ein Hostelzimmer, welches es nur mit Doppelbett gäbe. Gegen 20€ Aufpreis könnte man ein Hotelzimmer bekommen, dazu wurde die Tourismusabgabe nochmals kassiert, obwohl diese bei einer Buchung über Booking.com eigentlich schon enthalten ist. Das Geld wurde sich scheinbar noch schön eingesteckt, da es auch auf Nachfrage keine Rechnung gab. Das schöne Zimmer entschädigt leider nicht für den Ärger beim einchecken.

We had dinner there, little bit far from the center but u will not regret for the food and the cosy calm experience. We had seabass and lamb, taste and the art of the dishes are exceptional. That was one of the best seabass dishes ever had. Didnt stay there cannot comment on that. Highly recommend to taste food there if possible while your stay in Chamonix!!!

We verbleven hier enkele dagen en hadden hier een heel aangenaam verblijf.||De kamer (standaardkamer met bergzicht) was voldoende ruim voor twee personen. Het hotel heeft geen lift en onze kamer had geen airco en frigo. Tijdens ons verblijf was het +30 graden. De luikjes aan de ramen hielden de kamer net fris genoeg. ||Het personeel was vriendelijk en het ontbijt correct geprijsd. Na een wandeling (25min) bereik je het centrum van Chamonix. De rust in Les Praz is opvallend nadat je Chamonix bezoekt. ||||Parkeren kan op enkele meters van het hotel, er is steeds voldoende plaats.

Buona la posizione (vicino agli impianti, a 2 minuti di auto da Chamonix centro o 30 minuti di passeggiata nel bosco). La stanza matrimoniale era spaziosa e ben arredata, con stanza dei bambini in soppalco (fantastico!). Panorama incantevole sulle montagne. ||Colazione e cena troppo costose (colazione 15 euro gli adulti, 10 € i bambini; cena a menu fisso a 30 euro!). Su 3 piani ma senza ascensore. Il personale parla poco inglese e francese.

Sistemazione molto carina. A due passi dalla fermata del treno. Stanza da 5 posti letto, molto curata, al terzo piano con vista sul massiccio del Monte Bianco. Non c'è l'ascensore.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt im Hotel Eden sehr gut gefallen. Die Einrichtung ist mit sehr viel Engagement gemacht worden. Der Loungebereich strahlt eine warme Gemütlichkeit aus. Da eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft den Speiseraum belegt hat, konnten wir auch im Loungebereich das Abendessen einnehmen. Wir haben ein sehr leckeres Käsefondue mit einem ausgezeichneten Vom Personal empfohlenen Rotwein genossen.|Unser Zimmer war etwas klein, aber toll eingerichtet, alles modern und sehr sauber.||Ein schöner Aufenthalt, sehr zu empfehlen.||

Diante dos altos custos de hospedagem em Chamonix, este hotel vale muito à pena! Les Praz de Chamonix fica 1 estação antes de Chamonix Mont-Blanc apenas, ou seja, 5 min de trem. Mas o custo é muito inferior e o local é lindo demais! No início a antiga casa me assustou um pouco, principalmente depois que vi que só tem escadas e que ficaríamos no terceiro andar. Mas foi maravilhoso! Sem café da manhã, mas não fez falta, pois comemos ali por perto mesmo. A vista de frente para o Agule du Midi é inesquecível!!! Da pequena estação de trem ao hotel são 3 minutos de caminhada tranquila. Eu voltaria!

Для спортивных людей и семей отель удобно расположен рядом с подъёмником на La Fleger, с железнодорожной станцией, рядом с остановкой на автобус, идущий до подъемника на Brevant. До шумного и многолюдного центра Шамони всего одну остановку на поезде или 15 минут прогулочным шагом, но постояльцы Eden спят на тихой улице Route des Gaudenays. Se dovete venire a Chamonix e non volete spendere un'occhio della testa venite all'hotel Eden. Personale gentilissimo e sempre molto disponibile, camere accoglienti e pulite, una vista mozzafiato il tutto ad un prezzo ben sotto la media. Un po' cara la colazione. Molto belle le salette all'ingresso con scacchi e vari giochi in scatola. Veniteci!

Hotel molto carino ed accogliente, La vista dalla camera sopra Mt Blanc era mozzafiato. Personale gentilissimo e sempre a disposizione, atmosfera bellissima, siamo stati molto bene ci ritorneremo sicuramente:

Rendemo-nos à pacatez e ao aspecto pitoresco da vila de montanha Le Praz. Adorámos a amabilidade,simpatia e os preciosas orientações sobre os locais de visita fornecidos pela Olga. Agradou-nos a proximidade à estação de comboio que nos permitia o rápido acesso a Chamonix (à distância de uma paragem), mas ainda mais apreciado o free pass Carte d´Hôte para a família com viagem ilimitadas (entre Servoz (FR) e Vallorcine (CH) que o Eden nos concedeu. O quarto era acolhedor com uma pequena varanda e moderna casa de banho. As janelas suficientemente amplas para uma paisagem deslumbrante com sardinheiras em primeiro plano e o Monte Branco de fundo.O restaurante do hotel não funciona de momento, No entanto nas proximidades indicaram-nos um que nos saciou ao almoço/jantar (desde saladas, pizzas, steak haché, entre outros e com excelentes sobremesas). Foi para nós uma boa relação qualidade-preço.

L'hotel Eden si raggiunge in poco tempo...non è in centro ma è comunque un hotel interessante perché gode di una posizione quasi solitaria, nel verde, puoi scegliere di stare in un contesto tipicamente montano oppure di recarti nella vita mondana di Chamonix...posto vicino alle partenze delle funivie d'inverno oppure d'estate si può tranquillamente fare jogging in mezzo agli alberi. Molto disponibile il personale pronto a dare indicazioni precise ed a soddisfare le richieste del cliente. Parcheggio al chiuso. La zona del ristorante è caratteristica e solare...gustando un'ottima colazione osservi la natura dalla finestra e rinasci.
