Un de mes lieux favoris à Cham sans hésitation ! Le café est excellent, un choix de pâtisseries saines et gourmandes, et pour une pause dej’ il y a de quoi trouver son bonheur. Mais surtout l’équipe est au top, Raphaël Mélissa et Lucie sont des personnes en or ! Bon moment et coin chaleureux.

Merci Couloir pour l’accueil toujours chaleureux et joyeux, les délices sucrés et salés 🙏 Je vous recommande de tout tester. Le menu change chaque semaine avec des produits locaux de qualité et de saison ✨ Tout est fait maison par Nick, Iris, Victor et Sue. Il y en a pour tous les goûts. Gluten free lovers & veggie aussi 🌿

The best grilled cheese of my entire life!!! Full stop! Period.

The food is delicious and comes in so many flavors—we loved it! The prices are very reasonable for Chamonix, especially considering the quality of the ingredients used. The atmosphere is also lovely; it feels like a family place where regular customers know everyone. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the products. They also have a great variety of coffees and other drinks. We will definitely return next time we’re in Chamonix.

Incredible tuna melt with perfectly crunchy sourdough. V60 pour over with Honduras beans was delicious. Cappuccino was beautifully throthed over bold espresso

Delicious and best Americano in my life

It was my last day in Chamonix, and honestly, I wish I had discovered this place earlier. They serve incredibly delicious sandwiches. The tuna sandwich is a must-try — especially if you’re a tuna lover, I highly recommend it. The egg sandwich was also very tasty, as well as the cheese sandwich. After breakfast, we tried their specialty coffee, and it was genuinely the best coffee I had in Chamonix. Highly recommended 👍🏻 The place is small but very charming, and the staff were super friendly and kind. اي احد عربي زار هالمكان لا تطوفون اكلهم، الساندويتشات عجيبة والقهوة لذيذة👍🏻.

Smaczna kawka, dobre wypieki. Szybie WiFi. Trudno znaleść gniazdko do ładowania laptopa czy telefonu. Zupa i sałatka bardzo smaczna. Jedyny minus jedzenia na piętrze, to to że cały zapach z kuchni idzie ma ciebie. Śmierdziałem cebulą cały dzień :(

The vanilla bean latte was delicious, but the star of the show was the grilled cheese and tuna melt sandwiches! They were delicious! I was in a bit of a hurry and it probably took 10 min to make the sandwiches, but they rushed them for me. Merci!

Breathtaking view.. it was freezing this morning but it was definitely worth having a coffee sitting outside. Ppl working here are very friendly and sweet! It was a perfect way to end my journey in Chamonix.

Great coffee, I tried the V60 which the barista Raphael recommended and I’m very glad to have met Iris, who couldnt have been more courteous and polite. Brilliant atmosphere all round. I’ll definitely be going back!

American Approved!! Couloir Coffee is such a fun and friendly little spot, perfect for Americans looking for a great latte. They have all the classics plus some unique drinks like the hot lemon ginger, which was delicious. Make sure to check out the focaccia du moment; it changes daily and is worth trying. It is also conveniently located, just a three minute walk from the bus station. A great stop for coffee lovers visiting Chamonix. *I wish the inside was a little more jazzed up. This would have made it perfect for me. It also carries moody coffee for those that come on a day it is closed.

Fidèle cliente du café Moody à Chamonix, j’ai voulu tester leur deuxième coffee. J’ai été très déçue de l’accueil, et de la qualité du café servi. J’ai acheté un paquet de café à 14€ et celui-ci m’a été facturé 16€ ! Sans explication. ⚠️ Faites attention lors de vos prochains achats, le personnel a tendance à automatiquement encaisser des pourboires !!!

NOT SAFE for gluten free. Not even the coffee. Told them I was celiac and they served me an oat milk cappucino which I drank and then they chased me down the street to tell me they served me gluten. Terrible and super messed up.

I was passing by rushing and looking for a shop to buy water for the train. Ask they lady inside for directions but she said supermarkets were most likely closed due to a holiday. I asked if I could buy water from her but they already closed the business. She told me to wait and soon after brought a can of water for which she did not charge me. Such an amazing person I came across. Totally lifted my mood. Thank you!

I ate here really good soup and drunk amazing match which I missed during hiking. I love this little place.

Forget the slopes for a moment: the best run in Chamonix is straight to Couloir. This tiny café serves the town’s finest sandwiches – serious, chef-driven constructions that make the usual baguette look like a ski-school snowplough. The coffee? Moody’s roasters, smooth and strong enough to resuscitate the most jet-lagged alpinist. It’s not just the best café in Chamonix, it’s a reason to come down from the mountain at all.

Just great place with healthy&tasty food. Staff members are so nice. Cook 🧑‍🍳 bringing you your meal which is awesome (you can ask questions about your meal if you like). Hibiskus tea tastes great (organic tea). I’ve had OFP sandwich omelette with rocket, cheese and something good for me. Small sweet gift with a tea 🍵. Highly recommended place for breakfast and lunch.

Found gold, fabulous little place for vegetarian food, sandwiches and the best red pepper soup ever I have eaten in my life! Cannot give enough stars. The peanut cup cakes almost had me proposing to the chef. Bravo 👏🏼 Oh, the coffe is magnifique!

Wonderful hard working people with a refreshing variety in affordable options down town, which can be hard to find. Great coffee straight from the grind at Moodys with the same expert baristas at the machine. Upstairs area opening soon for more seating and small events. Excited to come back for their wine selection and community events!

Endroit sympa mais la cuisine et les boissons ont besoin de s’améliorer. Sandwich trop salés à la composition « éclectique » qu’on s’y perd sans vraiment comprendre ce qu’on va manger … les plats méritent d’être améliorer en terme de présentation …

We got V60 and Vanilla beans latte, along with cookies and carrot cake. It was one of the best we have ever had - all of them!

Tried the Americano and cauliflower sandwich, which was a great lunch. Enjoyed it so much I went back the next day for breakfast! Cannot beat the views upstairs, and all of the staff was wonderful 🙂

Amazing coffee! If you're after a cup of great coffee then this is your place. It's a hipster style cafe so not the comfiest and a bit crammed but very much worth a visit. We came back as the coffee was excellent. Service was great on our first visit (it appeared like the owner served us but I'm not sure) but a bit lacking on our second visit.

What a great addition to the already greatest Moody’s! Same incredible coffee, same incredible service and staff (love), but now with even more space. The food is so so flavourful, with the mushroom shawarma really setting new standards in the plant based sandwich realm. And they have matcha now. Far and wide, no one can match Couloir and its big mamma Moody!

So so good! What a time to be alive when you can buy a vegetarian tartiflette sandwich that keeps you going all day! The curry roasted cauliflower sandwich was the absolute star for me, so tangy and crispy. Worth waiting for the special options, and a lovely selection to take away if you’re in a rush. Coffee is top notch of course also :)

Specialty coffee shop tucked in downtown Chamonix. It is such a treat to have one so close to where I was staying. I had the Cortado, which came with the perfect bite of brownie. There is a bit of seating, and some food options. No wifi when I went. Overall I felt the atmosphere and the coffee was really well done.

So happy to have another great place to have coffee in Chamonix. Great care was given to the espresso preparation. The barista wasn’t happy with the result and did it again until the result was to its standard. Espresso was very balanced and fruity (Kenya) while milk drink (cortado) was very well textured and balanced. Barista are knowledgeable. Only place to go with Moody for a real coffee
