What a fantastic place to stay. The owners were so friendly and organised everything for us as first timers. |The food was tasty and plentiful (and they catered for a vegan for all meals). The rooms were comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.|The location was perfect for the ski lift and for the free bus that takes you all round the area.|We will definitely go back!

If you are travelling with kids this is built around them. The staff all took the time to engage with our young son, teaching him a high five in French, giving us tips on skiing with young children and generally just making us feel welcome as a family. Highly recommend.

We booked Chilli Powder through WeSki (who I also recommend- been amazing) and the hotel was spot on for us. We went out of school holidays. The staff were SO amazing from the welcome to recommendations to their professionalism. Also we were leaving early on the last day so they went out of their way to make us a packed breakfast to take - so appreciated. They brought us fizz to the hot tub, made us feel hugely welcome and our apartment, a few steps away from the main hotel was perfect - spotless, warm, fridge with milk and orange juice and essentials, dressing gowns for the hot tub (which we forgot 🙄) . Lovely people and lovely place. I’m going back for 👌 oh and cable car next door, skied right up to the door and great equipment shop close by. 5 stars Chilli Powder !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just had the most amazing time staying at Chilly Powder. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. The food was superb, amazing breakfasts and delicious evening meals with delightful wine pairings. The staff were just a different level, super friendly, helpful, just lovely- really just brilliant! The warmth and ambiance of Chilly Powder made my first snowboard experience just superb, I can not praise highly enough! Highly recommend!

Stayed at Chillys with my daughter for a 5 day ski trip. |I chose it for the great location, just a short walk to the main fast cable straight into the centre of Avoriaz and ski to the back garden at the end of the day which worked brilliantly.||Also because while it's a hotel, it's also more like a Chalet, with meals taken around large communal tables and shared spaces with sofas around the log fire, plus great extra facilities like an in-house bar and an outdoor hot tub. ||The stay was brilliant not just for the location and facilities but because the staff are truly awesome. They learn your name from the first moment, greet you whenever they see you, chatted to my daughter, and went out of the way at every turn to offer extra help. Stayed here in a group and had the most amazing time! Half of us were non-skiers and there was so much to do for the whole group and every second of the day was filled. The food, the hospitality, the service, the family feel, this is genuinely the warmest most friendly experience I've ever had while on holiday. Great place to stay with the most friendly and welcoming staff. Such a cosy vibe and close to the main Prodaines lift that takes you directly to the slopes. Loved our room which was clean and had everything we needed. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as smooth and comfortable as it can be. The only thing about the location of the chalet is that the latest bus from the closest town is at 9pm which is a bit early and taxis are very expensive. What a fantastic place! It was our first visit with the kids and the attention to detail from the staff was absolutely exceptional. They really make the effort to get to know you and nothing is ever too much trouble. We hear that they get a lot of repeat business and we can see why. We hope to be back again!

It has been one of the best ski trips with friends I have ever done. We stayed at Chalet Des Amis. Everything was wonderful, from the moment we decided to book. They made sure we had the best stay possible, offering us the option of booking ski passes, transfers, massages at the chalet... Everything was wonderful. The best thing, without a doubt, was the staff!

I think what makes this hotel special is the amazing team of people who are so incredibly welcoming. Along with their wonderful dogs. We had a fabulous time here we rented the lodge and very much enjoyed it. We used the bar every night we were there and should we be back in this destination? We would surely rebook.

Returned to Chilly Powder for a winter ski trip and it was just as good as the summer visit. |We stayed in a private chalet with the catered service, our chalet host (Emma) and chef (Eliza) were excellent and so friendly. The Chilly team go out of their way to make stays special, with Nick and Cosmin responding to any request for help. The bar man Rich was also great, ensuring we always had what we wanted. The premises were clean and tidy, with room servicing each day. Nothing was too much trouble, the team even sorted a karaoke machine for us when they heard some of the group asking where they could go and do it. |The standard of food at breakfast and dinner was excellent, curry night was a great experience. All dietary requirements were catered for. |Not my first visit and definitely won’t be my last.

Booked this hotel just for one night but could have stayed the week! Lovely family run hotel. The room was cozy and had double doors opening out onto a patio area. The breakfast was fabulous, the shakshuka was the best we'd ever tasted. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. There was an unexpected ice hockey theme which was a nice surprise for my bf who used to play competitively. And the hot tub was just perfect after a long day mountain biking. Slightly out of Morzine town but not a problem for us as we had our car! Would defo return.

J’ai eu l’occasion de passer deux nuits en demi-pension dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est très sympathique, disponible et avenant. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et les repas du soir très bon! Le repas du soir est pris en commun, tous les hôtes à la même table (sans les enfants qui mangent plus tôt). Cela permet de rencontrer des gens, de franchir les barrières des langues et de passer une soirée en « équipe »! Et à notre demande (en plein après-midi) le jacuzzi était prêt à nous accueillir en quelques minutes! Nous avons pu y passer autant de temps que nous le souhaitions. Moment très agréable.

What an incredible long weekend we had staying here with Chilly Powder.The whole experience was just sensational.If you are wanting it all,then stay here! It’s brilliantly located just a short stroll down from the Prodains Cable Cable Car.The owners and staff are first class at what they do,the food is incredible and the beds are so comfortable.Chilly Powder have absolutely nailed the home from home feeling,I haven’t felt so relaxed in years.It’s no small feat to create such an ambiance.Hats off! We made good use of the hot tub and it was never over crowded.I also enjoyed a wonderful massage in the yurt.It was a real luxury having both of those things to enjoy after hitting the slopes hard. We didn’t have children with us ourselves,but the other thing they have done brilliantly is being able to offer parents a relaxing ski holiday with children.They’ve just got the whole formula right

I've just returned from the most incredible long weekend – everything from the warm welcome to the amazing food and relaxed atmosphere was so lovely. The team really make you feel at home, and it was such a treat to come back from skiing to a cozy fire, canapés, and a delicious dinner each evening. I’m already looking forward to returning this summer for my first experience of the French Alps without the snow! Excited to swap skis for hiking boots and see a whole new side of Morzine-Avoriaz. Just back from a four night stay. What an amazing place and fantastic hosts. Everything about the hotel and chalet was wonderful. Welcoming, comfortable, friendly, the food was delicious and all situated in beautiful surroundings just a short walk to the Prodains express cable car to Avoriaz. I would give them a 10 star rating, if I could. Looking forward to going back in June to have a summer experience.

Just back from a wonderful 5 night stay at Chilly Powder. We were a group of 9 (middle-aged) friends - mix of skiers and non-skiers. We stayed in the very cosy chalets. The accommodation is spacious, very well maintained and equipped, we also had our own hot tub! The owners, Paul & Francesca, have a great team of welcoming staff that provide the highest standards of service. As a plant-based eater, I have never stayed anywhere where I have been so well looked after. The variety and quality of the food at mealtimes was outstanding. Also as a non-skier there’s no shortage of activities to occupy the time - lots of hikes, Morzine has some great shops, luge, e-bike rental all within easy access. Paul and Francesca were around in the evening to chat with us and other guests. They were so welcoming and make us feel very special. I’ll definitely be returning soon with the family. Thank you

There's nothing I wouldn't recommend about Chilly Powder. You can ski from the door. And the lift up to Avoriaz is two minutes away too, so the skiing is fantastic. The woods and surroundings outside Chilly Powder are like a postcard. I think it's probably the team that help make the stay so special. So much care and attention is taken into making your stay so fantastic, from the food to the facilities and the lovely log fire and cosy bar. What a fantastic place.

We have just returned from our 3rd Chilly Powder holiday, and our first Christmas with them. As ever, the experience was incredible. The staff at the hotel are so carefully chosen, and the senior staff members stay year after year which speaks volumes of the attitude of the company. I can’t speak highly enough of Cosmin, Nick, Eoife, and all the hosts. The food is absolutely incredible, the location is ideal for access to both Avoriaz and Morzine and the childcare options are fabulous. We have always felt to secure leaving our child in their care while we ski and still enjoying family time at the chalet. We will definitely be back for our 4th trip!

Recently back from a great week staying in the catered chalet with friends, the visit was for skiing and came highly recommended from one of the party members. It didn't disappoint in anyway with excellent service from the staff, superb food each evening and the breakfasts were good too. Good location for the main gondola up to Avoriaz and the free bus service into Morzine is very handy. Thanks for a very pleasant stay!

Un excellent séjour en famille pour 2 nuits en période estivale. |Très calme , des espaces pour se reposer en intérieur comme en extérieur. |Un accueil très agréable et chaleureux de la part de tout le personnel. |Une chambre impeccable. |Le plus : un garage à disposition nous a permis de mettre en sécurité la remorque et les vélos.|Coté emplacement, l’hôtel est situé au pied du téléphérique pour avoriaz , et à quelques km (5 ou 6 ?) du centre de morzine.

We hebben een week in de gecaterde chalet l’ancetre van Chilly Powder verbleven. We hadden hele hoge verwachtingen na de super goede recensies op TripAdvisor. Nou chalet l’ancetre is wat ons betreft echt geen aanrader. De chalet ligt pal aan de doorgaande weg, het is gewoon oud, versleten en niet meer van deze tijd. Heel oudbollig ingericht, donker, weinig ramen, super slechte krakende doorgezakte bedden,|(heb ik na de eerste nacht melding van gemaakt en is helemaal niks mee gedaan). Er is geen terras of plek om buiten te zitten (op een klein houten bankje aan de doorgaande weg na). In de mini woonkamer is een veel te kleine bank, de stoelen in de keuken zitten super slecht, de slaapkamer voor de kinderen is in een vies ruikende muffe kelder. In het midden van de ruimte zit een afvoerputje welke het water van de overstromende douche af moet voeren. In de woonkamer is een haard aanwezig,

We had a nice stay "au coin du feu" in March last year. One thing I regret is not daring saying something when we left me and my friends our 3 kids to the kindergarden one day. I gave 5 diapers to the nanny for my baby and when we picked her up at the end of the day the 5 clean diapers were still in her bag. My baby had a very severely damaged skin after for 1 week, with infection and blood... And very bag nights... The kindergarden team was not very professional. 10 month later I still remember and I finally write a public post, this experience hurts me.

Huge respect to the whole Chilly Powder team but in particular, Cosmin, Nick, Dara, Ben & Anna. Epic week despite sketchy snow, chickenpox, torn ligaments. Lovely chalet, awesome food & wine, fantastic friendly and helpful staff. We will be back!

Accueil agréable. Bien situé pour les skieurs. Mais chambre sans charme et extrêmement exigüe pour un 4*. A peine le niveau d’un 2*. Alimentation de qualité, mais dans une ambiance de cantine. Petits déjeuners médiocres.

Un personnel au petit soin, dans un cadre très cosi, on s'y sent comme chez soi dans un habitat confortable et silencieux, avec des petits déjeuners bons et copieux. Bref, un séjour parfait en famille ;)||||Morzine n'est qu'à 4km, et à quelques minutes à pied des télécabines d'Avoriaz.

Friendly, family run hotel chalet. Lovely, helpful staff, who really worked to make the stay comfortable and relaxed. From the buffet breakfast, to the afternoon tea, the shared sit-down evening meal, the kids' lessons and even the fact that it was just a short walk to the new speedy Prodains Express lift meant that the whole family enjoyed the week. No wonder a lot of their business are repeat customers.

Went here just after Christmas and had an amazing time. The Chalet we stayed in was very spacious and clean as well as being close to one of the ski lifts. Kira, our chalet host made us all feel very welcome along with George the chef, whose food was absolutely fantastic. The main chalet up the street also threw a great New Years party. I'll definitely be coming back!

Fantastic family place for winter or summer activities!

Parti quelques jours en famille nous voilà dans cet établissement, alors attention si vous ne parlez pas un minimum anglais oublié car peu de salarié parle couramment le français... Sinon un cadre magnifique un établissement de rêve, petit bémol le rez-de-chaussée que nous occupions mériterait un rafraîchissement intérieur et la salle de bain un grand coup de jeune, sinon personnel attentionné parfait

Nous étions dans le chalet sans service de restauration. Nous occupions le rez-de-chaussée avec deux chambres. Très bien dans l'ensemble sauf la panne de lave vaisselle, pas d'eau chaude avant plusieurs relances... Dommage le reste ok.

Transporté par l'ambiance chaleureuse du chalet lui même et par sa position géographique, nous avons passé un séjour mémorable.||L’accueil était souriant.||||La chambre est typique, entièrement faite en bois. Le lit est à côté de la baignoire à bulle... L'ambiance est très romantique..||||Nuit au calme dans un petit village de montagne.||||Le petit déjeuné était très bon avec des produits frais et locaux.||||Le jacuzzi extérieur donne un point de vu superbe sur le mont des Hauts Forts.

Очень приятное место. Небольшие уютные номера, отделанные деревом, большинство из которых рассчитаны на семьи с детьми. Номер Winter на первый взгляд показался маленьким, но, как оказалось, на галлерею на втором этаже ведет лестница, а там еще 3 кровати. И вообще, все номера тут отличаются необычной планировкой. Завтрак и ужин накрывают в большом зале с панорамными окнами. И в любое время можно бесплатно налить себе чай, кофе или горячий шоколад. Вечером разжигают камин. Тут же спят собаки. В общем, очень уютно. Большинство гостей отеля — англичане. Ужин накрывают за общим столом, так что есть возможность пообщаться. Единственный минус — до центра Морзина, где происходит вся движуха, нужно ехать, пешком не доберешься. Зато подъемник — в двух шагах, так что больше всего этот отель подойдет для лыжников-фанатов.
