April 7th, Just finished the dinner. The portion was fare to less. And definitely expensive compared to the portion. NO recommendation !!!

We ordered food for home and got super disappointed !Tiny boxes with zero vegetables simple rice ,simple noodles no veggies!In the ,,beef" bowl there was noodles 3 pieces of meat and NO veggies!Never going there or ordering again!

Food poisoning alert! 2 people out of our party of 6 spent the night vomiting and battling explosive diarrhea after eating the shredded beef with green peppers. I wouldn’t go there again if you paid me

The chicken curry was basically water and the rice portion was about two spoonfuls. The atmosphere was terrible the staff seemed judgmental for no reason this is one of the more obvious tourist traps I’ve ever seen

Absolutely fantastic Chinese restaurant. The beef dish was full of flavour, the crispy duck was cooked perfectly, and the Cantonese rice was spot on. Everything tasted fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was excellent from start to finish. We visited twice during our trip and both times it was consistently great. What really stood out was that even the owners greeted us personally and said goodbye, which made us feel genuinely welcome. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Chamonix!

Superbe ! Pour les amoureux de la Chine, on y retourne. On y retrouve le gout, les saveurs et les souvenirs. L’entrée du restaurant est modeste, l’intérieur bien plus confortable et joliment décoré. Ce restaurant correspond à un haut de gamme en Chine. Pas trop envie de commenter les commentaires négatifs et la note basse sur Google, mais tout de même, ils nous ont fait rater une première fois ce restaurant pourtant remarquable. Des commentaires probablement laissés par des personnes qui ont comme références les restaurants asiatiques français souvent tenus par des non-chinois par ailleurs. Pour revenir à l’essentiel, notre menu à deux : - raviolis au porc， - nouilles sautées aux legumes, - marmite d’aubergines braisées piquantes au porc, - choux sauté à la sauce Sichuan, - travers de porc au sel et au poivre - canard croustillant, - deux pots de vin, - thé vert de Taiwan (excellent)

Food is disgusting, don't come here. Feels like there is zero thought put into the food, really almost all dishes are so bad. Service is nice.

Chez Yang serves tasty and nutritious food for when your body needs a break from cheese and bread. Good service, and they have a really nice covered glass dining room in the back with incredible views of the mountains. Large group friendly.

The food was fine, but the service was very disappointing. I ordered food and politely asked for tap water, explaining that I planned to have some alcohol later. I requested it several times, and each time the staff said “okay”, but no water was ever brought. Even after I finished my meal, it still did not arrive. It felt like the staff were uncomfortable or unwilling to serve tap water. The restaurant was not busy at all, so there was no excuse for this oversight. Good food alone is not enough, the attitude and basic service really need improvement. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression.

Food was absolutely gorgeous. I had duck and it was super soft and the skin was nice and crispy. The Cantonese fried rice was nice too. The lady that served us was super friendly. I have to be honest at the start I wasn’t sure about it as the rating was 3.7 but I’m so glad the people I was with wanted Chinese. I hope more people who had a good experience can post about it.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The boss is incredibly rude and arrogant, showing no basic respect to customers. The food is low quality, tasteless Chinese dishes served in laughably small portions at outrageous prices. Nothing about this place justifies the cost. Overpriced, unpleasant, and a complete waste of money. Do not recommend.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Beef noodle tastes just like shitty instant noodles. Cabbage is made for dog. Oolong tea has absolutely no tea flavor. Please do not come, trust me. Service is good tho.

Ce restaurant chinois ne paie pas forcément de mine à l’entrée, mais l'extension à l’arrière offre une belle vue sur les montagnes. Contrairement à certains commentaires que nous avions lus, nous avons été très bien accueillis et l’ambiance était chaleureuse. Nous avons goûté trois soupes de nouilles différentes et elles étaient très bonnes - coup de cœur pour la numéro 2. Seul petit bémol: les portions nous ont semblé un peu justes pour un retour de ski. Cela n’enlève toutefois rien à la qualité des plats ni à l’amabilité irréprochable de l’ensemble du personnel. Une adresse à découvrir pour la qualité de la cuisine et l’atmosphère, en gardant simplement en tête que les plus affamés auront peut-être envie de compléter le repas.

the food was really good and the atmosphere is great! It is the city Centre! When we went for lunch, it was quite busy so I definitely recommend calling in advance!

The food was nice . The only thing that bothered me a little was that i had asked for “carafe d’eau” and instead I was given bottled water which is actually not free. Otherwise good atmosphere and nice service

So they allowed us to enter at 2 pm however there is working hours in their info and despite they are closing at 2:30 They were friendly, well trained, served fast, normal portion (unfortunately asian food in Europe is super small compared when you eat in Asia) and tasty food especially if you r craving for it! And big thank you for their kid friendly huge option of meal!

服务很烂 及其抠门，问服务员说能不能多给点虾片，上了之后老板一直盯着我们超我们这边看，最后突然过来拿走了，完全没有问，后面问起来她说以为我们不吃了就拿走了，拿了一份新的。最后结账发现虾片收了钱，问老板她说我们吃了三份，一点没有道歉的意思，态度极其恶劣，反过来说我们没素质。老板还让我们出去吵别影响别的客人，实际上是他们自己态度很差，吵架的语气，没有见过这样的服务。

四个人特意来尝尝这家的牛肉面，果然名不虚传！面条筋道，汤头浓郁醇厚，牛肉也炖得非常软烂入味。除了食物出色，餐厅环境也很整洁舒适，服务人员态度亲切，响应及时。是一次非常愉快的用餐体验，推荐给喜欢吃牛肉面的朋友！

I had the best authentic Chinese meal in this lovely restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and attentive especially the staff asked me how I like to prioritise the order of my food. I ordered Hot and Sour Soup and it was very authentic and delicious. Oh the Stir Fried Vegetables with Garlic was so professionally cooked with Wok Chi. Everything was piping hot and so delicious!!! The Pork Dumplings were also professionally made. Their standard is amazingly high in this beautiful Chamonix. I even talked to the owner of the restaurant who is so friendly and welcoming. Well done to the owner of the restaurant which deserves lots of wonderful feedback like mine.

The staff were not very friendly. The restaurant was not even half full but there were two tables with a group of chinese tourists. They gave me a table right next to this loud group. I asked for a seat inside and their répond was not possible, we are full. Poor service. I won't recommend.

We came in for the advertised €15 deal of 2 wontons and noodle soup. When seated this was "not available". Noodle soup alone was €18 pp. Felt a bit cheated. The jasmine tea pot we got was €9. Not cheap and not what is advertised outside. The soup was meh, a little flavourless and not piping hot. The pork added to it was cold. Won't return unfortunately. Plus side - friendly service.

Nous avons été accueillis comme un chien dans un jeu de quille. la serveuse n'a même pas fait l'effort de nous parler en français. Elle nous a jeté dans un coin de la salle le plus loin possible (si elle avait pu, elle nous aurait installé dans les toilettes). La salle était quasiment vide. Nous sommes partis sans manger. L'accueil était horrible à éviter au maximum

It is situated in the city centre. We visited with family in August 2025 first week. The backside place abetting the river and a garden is simply out of the world. The pastas and noodles we have ordered was brought piping hot and tasty. Cool serene and calm atmosphere.

Es la 4 vegada que sopem aqui en 1 any, venim 5 cops l’any a chamonixi m’he cansat de pagar per un troç de formatge, patates i embotit amb pa sec 2 begudes i un postre a compartir mes de 80€ i sempre es el mateix, la diferencia es que en aquest restaurant pots triar mil coses i mai aburreix, ben ates, pots reservar per sms i pots portar un gos gros sense que et mirin malament, no se fa mes d’un any pero des d’estiu 2024 fins setembre 2025 ha sigut un encert i la terrassa dona al riu😍

Le service était impeccable alors qu'on était vraiment pas un groupe facile, et en sortant on était vraiment heureux, car tout était très bon. Je pense que ça vaut le coup d'y aller le midi pour les formules qu'ils proposent.

We had an early dinner here, and the food was good, with quick and friendly service. The restaurant has a lovely seating area on the balcony next to the stream, which made the atmosphere very pleasant and serene.

Nous nous somme rendu dans cet établissement, sans savoir que nous allions nous faire arnaquer, tout est en supplément par rapport a votre plat ! Les nouilles +12 euro, le riz blanc + 3 euro , les riz cantonnais + 8 euro , au final a trois 105 euro .... Fuyez pauvres fous !

Tarif totalement scandaleux ! J’ai pris un plat à emporter poulet 5 parfums et des nouilles . Le poulet 17 euros , et les nouilles ne sont pas comprises ds le plat , il faut payer 12 euros . Donc j’ai payé 29 euros pr l’ensemble ( voir photo) et aucune réduction du fait de prendre à emporter comme c’est souvent le cas dans d’autres restos asiatiques. Je m’attendais donc à voir une grande barquette à ce prix là, Mais pas du tout (voir photo) 2 petites barquettes tout à fait classique comme dans tout traiteur asiatique . Le plat était bon mais rien d’exceptionnel pour ce prix ! Un scandale qui profite des touristes asiatiques pr se remplir les poches !

接待我的是一个外国女服务员，她问我要喝什么，我说：water。她直接拿来一瓶7欧的依云水。后来我发现餐厅是提供免费的白开水的。所以…呃…她凭什么觉得我有免费的水不喝，一定要喝依云呢？这让我很不爽。如果菜价贵，我自己点的，我能接受，因为菜单上面告诉我有什么，我自己做选择。但是这个服务员并没有告知我有免费的水和依云可以选。其次，菜的味道肉菜很咸，真的非常咸，青菜咸淡合适。我觉得比较好的是中国服务员和老板很热情。但最后买单的时候会有一个消费选项，在法国貌似没有给小费的习惯，这个有点突兀。不过小费是自愿支付，它不是强制消费。

麻婆豆腐とスープ、酢豚、白ごはんと半炒飯を注文しました。メニューには全て写真がついていてわかりやすかったです。どれもとっても美味しく、また食べきれるサイズで嬉しかったです。西洋食に疲れた胃袋におすすめです！

€12 for a side of soggy broccoli, and I asked SPECIFICALLY for tap water only. They charged me €7(!!) just for water. Don’t be fooled, this is a trap!

Les serveurs et serveuses sont adorables, l’ambiance est festive, tout est abordable avec une formule du midi à seulement 18€. Cuisine exceptionnelle vous pouvez foncer les yeux fermés.

Contrairement à certains avis la cuisine y est bonne, le chef un vrai chinois le service par des vrais chinois de Shanghai d’autres de Taïwan et une française, la terrasse sympa la vue sur le mont blanc cachée par des arbres et la patronne cool. Carte réduite mais l’essentiel y est.

Des plats surgelés et réchauffés au micro-ondes sans AUCUN DOUTE. À fuir.

餐厅环境还不错，但是菜品有很大的提升空间。那个排骨，千万不要点，一口下去，猪肉的骚臭味真的把所有胃口都消灭了。我知道欧洲的猪肉普遍有味道，但是只要煮透，处理得当，是可以做到一点异味都没有的。铁板牛肉经过嫩肉粉腌制的，吃不出牛肉的味道了。还有西兰花，生的。对价格我没有异议，但是希望菜品能对得起价格，对后厨品控要好好把关一下。

We visited this restaurant after arriving to get ready for 10-day hike on the TMB, looking forward to a satisfying meal. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The portion sizes were very small, especially considering the price, and the flavors were underwhelming. The noodle soup, in particular, was extremely plain and lacked depth. I didn’t come in with high expectations, but the food still fell short. On the positive side, the seating by the river was pleasant and offered a relaxing atmosphere. However, given the minimal portions and mediocre taste, I wouldn’t recommend this place—especially to hungry hikers looking for a hearty meal.

Habitués aux restos asiatiques pour avoir voyagé en Chin Thaïlande et Vietnam , nous avions la nostalgie de leurs cuisines parfumées, légères, goûteuse. Alors de passage à Chamonix nous sommes entrés chez Yang. Belle déco, le personnel est sympa, mais que dire de la cuisine? Le rouleau de printemps était roulé dans une feuille de riz caoutchouteuse, le porc sauce piquante baignait dans l’huile...Je n’ai pas retrouvé la cuisine asiatique que j’adore ! Le chef ne doit pas être asiatique....

Lovely place in the heart of Chamonix by the river with a stunning view of the mountains. I am currently biking from the Netherlands to the Mont Blanc without the use of money. The lovely owner offered me fried rice with chicken and the sauce was holy. After that they also gave me ice cream and all for free. This shows how warm and openhearted the people of this restaurant are. Go show them some love! <3

首先东西真的非常难吃 其次前台大妈态度极差 First of all, the food is really terrible. Secondly, the receptionist was extremely rude. Tout d’abord, la nourriture est vraiment mauvaise. Ensuite, la réceptionniste était extrêmement impolie.

夏慕尼大街上的中餐館，第二晚在夏慕尼小鎮晚餐就吃個解饞，穿插中式餐點。

We dined at a the lovely terrace situated next to a fast-flowing stream. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious, all at a very reasonable price. We had dined here at noon, a refreshing change from the usual routine.

If you come to Chamonix, this is the restaurant you must try! The chinese food in Chez Yang is very delicious. the fried chicken is crispy and tender. The ducks comes with the dipping. Others menu that the cook recommended in the menu you can try all. 😀 the owner and staffs are also very nice. 👍

We came 30 minutes before the restaurant was closed and fortunately they were still willing to take our order and served us well. One thing that we like the service was quick As for the food it was good although some of the menu that we ordered a bit bland.

老闆從上海來 進門就會熱情的招呼問從哪來 老雞煨蘑菇湯喝起來十足的像松發肉骨茶 玉米湯則中規中矩 什錦蔬菜實則幾乎不是蔬菜 由櫛瓜、木耳、紅蘿蔔、甜椒、花椰菜組合而成 可以理解當地蔬菜量少 但建議改菜名避免誤會 吃了起司類久了能嘗到華人料理還是相當開心

Le Bœuf de Mongolie, pas du tout épicé ! il y a 5 serveurs dans la salle mais visiblement un seul cuisinier donc il y a un peu d'attente entre les plats ! Surtout avant de payer, VÉRIFIEZ BIEN VOTRE ADDITION pour éviter toute mauvaise surprise....

Pretty good food. Satisfying at the end of a day of skiing! Staff speaks Chinese (Mandarin)! Portions could be slightly larger. But pretty good value for a ski town.

Nous venons depuis très longtemps dans ce restaurant que nous avons beaucoup apprécié pendant des années... Mais qui nous a beaucoup déçu.e.s cette année. Le cuisinier a dû changer et les plats manquent de finesse, de saveur et ne correspondent pas à la carte, qui a d'ailleurs changé elle aussi... Nous ne pouvons malheureusement plus vous recommander ce restaurant dont la cuisine est devenue très médiocre. Passez votre chemin... En espérant que la patronne changera (ou formera) bientôt son nouveau cuisinier.

Recommend the mapo tofu, cantonese duck and the chicken broth + mushroom soup with rice. Very delicious and satisfied with the meal.

Wow! What a place! First of all walk in to be greeted by some very friendly workers! The food was delightful I would recommend both the ribs and duck! Would recommend to anyone fancying a chinese after a day of Skiing! Will be returning

Extra!!! Découvert il y a 3 ans, une tuerie! Expérience renouvelée ce week-end et toujours au top! Aujourd'hui on reessaye mais cette fois à la livraison... Chef cuisto venant directement de Chine avec sa vrai cuisine, rien de comparable au pseudo chinois vu partout! La façade ne paie pas de mine mais à l'arrière une terrasse avec vue imprenable sur l'aiguille du midi avec une petite rivière juste un petit Havre de paix... Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Today, I want to eat ramen while in France and came across a restaurant with a poster advertising ramen outside so I decided to give it a try. However, when I sat down and looked at the menu, it was actually a Chinese restaurant. Despite the confusion, I decided to stay and was pleasantly surprised. The place was quiet, creating a peaceful environment for a relaxed meal. If you choose to sit outside, you can enjoy a stunning view of Chamonix.

Went with my 2 sons and had a great meal at this restaurant food great and service wasn't bizzy don't know why .

You have to pay for rice, but very good food

Beef and green pepper in black bean sauce was very tasty and not too salty! Broccoli was delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was prompt and very pleasant.

The Cantonese rice was completely tasteless, and the noodles had an artificial, unappetizing texture. Despite the owner being kind, I do not recommend this restaurant.

Lieu avec accueil efficace et organisation des tables ok. Assises contre le mur très inconfortables, mal de dos assuré. Si je devais choisir le prix de ce que j'ai mangé, je n'en aurais pas donné la moitié du prix payé (~35€ pour une entrée et un plat) Riz cantonais pas bon, servi tiède. Poulet croustillant moyennement passable, la qualité du poulet n'est encore une fois pas au niveau du prix payé pour ce plat (18€). Nems... 2€ l'unité, trop cuits voir cramés, similaires à des nems de grande surface. Je ne parlerai pas des bouts d'os et de cartilage dans le poulet croustillant. Conclusion : le niveau de cuisine est mauvais. Pour une entrée/plat à 10€ je n'aurais rien dit. Pour plus du triple payé, c'est limite scandaleux.

Vraiment déçu des plats qu’on a eu, j’ai pris un ramen, il était super fade. Quand on voit la photo sur le menu et la réalité c’est vraiment déprimant. Comme je disais en terme de goût c’est extrêmement fade, c’est de l’eau avec des ingrédients. Ça a le même goût qu’un resto à volonté mais sans être à volonté

Perhaps one of the worst Chinese restaurants in Europe. The duck is rubbery and barely cooked. There is also ham in the egg fried rice. Why is there ham in Chinese egg fried rice?

Worst service, we were eating with children (2yo), but they asked us “are you have finished? if not yet you can move to another table, because the table that we used will be arranged for other customers”. Very rude and impolite, disappointing, other customers should have to queue to eat on the restaurant not by chasing away customers who are eating, we still eating and have food on our table. This was unfortunately the worst meal my husband and I had while in Chamonix. The prices were very high considering how small portions were and how bland the food was. We both left hungry and disappointed. We tried the dumplings, Cantonese rice, and one of the recommended chef specials - none of these were tasty.

The service is so disorganized and distracting. Some of the food is salty, and some are bland. The portions are very small. Service attitude isn't friendly. Fortunately, the restaurant looks clean.

Although we see some mixed reviews we thought everything was excellent. Wonderful atmosphere, great service and delicious dinner.

Déception absolue. J’ai la chance d’aller à Chamonix tous les ans depuis quelques années, et ce restaurant faisait partie des bonnes adresses auquel j’avais l’habitude de me rendre plusieurs fois pendant mon séjour. Aujourd’hui, je déconseillerai à quiconque de s’y rendre. La nourriture n’a rien des mets chinois traditionnels que vous pensez trouver. Tout est fade, ou trop poivré. Le ramen à 18€ est une blague : viande sèche, nouilles qui ressemble à des spaghettis trop cuites, des maïs de boites de conserve on ne sait pas trop pourquoi… Je vous parle pas des autres plats qui sont de même standing. Ce restaurant est cher pour une qualité médiocre. Gagnez du temps, fuyez, et allez vous restaurer ailleurs.

The meal were extremely overpriced and aren’t good at all. The cook is not trying too hard trust me. The place looks nice. Next to the river. But for the rest. It’ll be the most expensive/most disgusting ramen you’ll ever have for 18€ 😭 If you wanna try the meat… aoutch don’t go that path ! 18€ for 7 little bites of fried chicken, not that good either… Hard pass for me ❤️

After a long trip, we find this nice place. Te waiter it was verry kind and relax. The food came verry fast and the taste incredible. We been to a lots of the restaurants in Chamonix, but unfortunately was deserted. We recomane this restaurant. 😊

En vacances à Chamonix, on décide de ce restaurer dans cet établissement pour changer un peu avec les plats montagnards.On choisit de s,installer à l,extérieur, à l,arrière du restaurant. Très joli cadre ombragé près de la rivière. Ayant une journée chargée on opte pour un menu rapide proposé en semaine. Le classique nem riz cantonais filets de porc aigre-douce nous ont régalé. Contrairement à la patronne , Les serveuses très sympa ne parlent pas français ,mais on est parvenu à se comprendre. On a apprécié cette halte gourmande.

Sehr gutes chinesisches Essen und freundliches Personal. Sehr schön eingerichtet mit einem Gartensitzplatz hinter dem Haus und somit ruhig gelegen.

Chez Yang has a beautiful terrace with lots of flowers on the back side, at the border of the river. (They could make that more clear on the street-side of the restaurant, because the terrace is a real asset). We were very early and the staff was kind, the food tasty and the atmosphere great! When we left many new guests had arrived. Recommended!

Comimos aquí por cambiar de la típica comida de montaña de la zona. Nos atendieron muy amablemente en una terraza interior muy agradable. Comida china habitual, no estaba mal y precio razonable comparado con los restaurantes de la zona donde los precios están al nivel casi de Suiza.

What we ordered was not cooked as described, salt and chilli chips had no seasoning on, neither did the ribs, all meals lacked in flavour, the egg fried rice had pieces of pork through it and my Muslim friend could not eat this, it was not described as having any meat in the egg fried rice. not good value for money, we paid €78 for a two course meal for two people and not impressed with it.

음식 늦게나오고 맛도 더럽게 없으며 (인생최악 딤섬, 면요리), 접시 설거지 제대로 되어있지 않고 직원들 서비스도 개노답.. 남자직원은 술잔뜩먹고 서빙 절대가지마세요 1개도 아깝습니다ㅎㅎㅋㅎㅋㅎㅋㅎ

Uma decepção. Tão bem localizado, no centro de Chamonix, servir uma comida tão ruim, é uma lástima. Fico me perguntando como tem a coragem de servir uma comida assim? Eu teria vergonha, desculpa se estou sendo muito duro, porém alguém precisa falar a verdade. A comida tem o gosto de quando você guarda ela por 15 dias na geladeira e depois esquenta para comê-la rapidamente. Se algum responsável do estabelecimento estiver lendo isso, por favor, repensem todo o menu de vocês, contratem um chef de cozinha para elaborar os pratos com um mínimo de respeito que a comida exige.

We enjoyed a lunch here - great friendly service and the food was tasty and fresh. Plenty of menu options and there is either a sit in or out the back option. We didn’t get out the back since it was a rainy cold day but it looked really nice. Staff do know a little English to assist with ordering if required.
